This is a beautiful drive summer and fall. We have never been on it in winter ,if it is open then I do not know.

Spaindrone once Tioga pass opens up it should only take about 90 min drive to the park entrance.

Were the roads slippery at this time? Did you require snow tires?

SlottehHotteh No, roads were in good driving condition. Did not need snow tires.

No , Not at all do you need as long as you are going in the summer months.

No not Yosemite...been there for more 4-5 times ..i want to take road trip to highway 395 ..nd visit as many places i can ..till Death Valley
