- Today for our Christmas eve's dinner we decided to have some traditional Indian and Pakistani tandoori food. I had heard of Restoran Kapitan (near the Kapitan Keling mosque) should be the best for this in Penang. I was not sure if this would be true but now I think this could actually be true. I even liked it more than the Pak Putra in Melaka where we also ate this kind of food.
It is great to have nights out, I almost feel like I am back in the old days although the Corona virus is still out there and still a threat to the world.
Come on, let's have some food together.
George Town is a great place for Christmas, we have chosen well. This is my favorite place so far. We are still wondering if the RMCO will be extended - what do you think?
If it will be extended then we will leave in January for a road trip towards the east and possibly even to Sarawak but nothing is sure yet.

I would like to go for the lamb briyani next time although mostly I eat chicken.

Kapitan is my must-go whenever in Georgetown. My usual order is chicken tandoori and garlic naan, washed down with the house almond milk (called "susu badam" in Malay).

Indeed, Kapitan Restoran provides nice quality. However, it is far from valuable and too many times the service sucks.
Like many who enjoyed the food there, I decided not to return in this restaurant because of troublesome waiters.
Finally, I found other places where I can get good quality with bigger quantity and cheaper.

Weather here is nice, there is still lots of clouds and some rain, so it is still cooler. I think hot and dry will start in a few weeks but maybe only days... cheers

There is a God ? LOL ! Indian Pakistani food that good ? How do they compare with Middle Eastern West Asian food ?
I love Indian and Pakistani food anyway but this one in particular was very good. I think you can definitely see that food has traveled, the way to prepare it and how to it it. There are quite some similarities. I have spent quite some time on the Indian subcontinent and also in the Middle east. There are lots of similarities between the foods, and you can see how it slowly changes when going through Turkey, Middle East, Iran, Afghanistan (I never actually been there), Pakistan and finally India. Not sure where it originates but there is power in the Middle East.

Faith in Jesus Christ is trust in His finished work on the cross and His shed blood for the forgiveness of our sins. Righteousness=Holy Spirit is a free gift in Christ.
