It always seemed to me that the Black Almain was being danced counterclockwise. 🤔

the sources say nothing about the direction in either way.
In our group, there are certain dances we always dance in the same direction, but actually the only reason is "we always have danced like that".

@@kullikressa7868 The direction can be assumed on the basis of folk dances, for example, Breton dances. These dances are danced usually counterclockwise. But, of course, historically, the direction could be any.
