First time gardener here- so glad I found this video! Our little bush beans we planted from seed in a large container have started to curl and I thought for sure some pest was involved! I’ll cut way back on the water and hopefully they’ll bounce back. Cheers from Southern California 🌴🌞
Does this also happen with tomatoes? Upwards curl with too much water (still totally green but leathery). I'm in zone 4a (WI) and I doubt it has been too much heat/sun, but all the videos I've seen on YT talk about physiological tomato curl related to heat/sun only.

Thank you so much for this info. I've been giving my beans extra extra water because of our recent heat wave. I guess I might have over done it.

That sure looks like herbicide damage to me......
