Yep, I'm in this weird in between.... Well can you tell me what you think based off of my experience? (I apologize for how long this is) So it was like 5th grade our teacher had put us in a group. At the time I could care less about him and I could see he didn't care either. Overtime we would laugh and joke around. I started developing feelings for him. We would have little challenges (beat boxing ik it's weird) I sounded like a dying turkey but he was actually good at it. He kept complimenting me and saying I was better but I knew I wasn't. A few weeks later he asks me if I like anyone I told him I do. He starts naming everyone in the class and I say no to them all. He never said his name so I never told him. I asked if he like someone and he changed the subject. We kept enjoying our year until it was over. Well neither of us had an excuse to talk to one another and we grew apart. One day I see his friend talking to him he hesitates and walks over to me. He asked if I had practiced beat boxing lately. I told him I haven't and I still sounded like a dying turkey. Well he asked me to show him I simply said no so I didn't humiliate myself. He showed me a very impressive new trick he'd learned over the summer and I told him he was still great at it. He said from what he remembered I still sounded better I told him I really wasn't and he kept saying I was. Well I agreed to disagree skip another two years. This was pretty recent. I wanted to talk to him but I was to shy, so I had my cousin walk up to him. I told her to ask him what he thought of me. He kept asking why and I told her to say I wanted to be friends (I was stupid and friend zoned myself ik) anyways he said we couldn't be friends if I didn't talk to him. I was still to shy and thought he hated me. So I didn't talk to him. Well I kept looking at him and more than not he looks at me as well and we make eye contact but quickly look away. I've seen him watching me from the corner of my eye. Well last week we were in gym and he was playing basketball. I started watching him and he'd noticed. Well he talked to his friend and then he kept scoring while showing off a few moves. I looked at him and he looked over at me and smirked I couldn't tell if he was smirking at me or not. Last Friday neither of us could go on the field trip and we got stuck in the same classroom. I stared at my computer and tried not to look at him so nobody would notice. I guess the teacher saw and had started talking to me about something random. Everyone looked at me including him I looked back and then away. I made a joke about what the teacher had said. I couldn't tell but it looked like he smiled under his mask. Well today he kept coming near me in gym but didn't talk to me. Then in the hallway I was walking behind him as usual and he talked to his friends. They all stopped until I got closer and proceeded walking. Every time I got to far away they'd do it again. PLEASE HELP I can't tell and I'm so sorry this is SOOO long I just wanted to fill you in!
Uhh honestly I do think there is a chance that he likes you! If u want some advice, I would suggest u to go talk to him again the next time u see him! And see what happens next. I recommend just talking to him more and more for now. Cos it seems to me this person does enjoy talking to u! So use that as an advantage to start bonding more and eventually turn it to a relationship. Good luck!
