My favorite emotion is actually sadness. I wouldn’t say I seek it out but I never suppress it. I welcome her like an old friend. I feel better afterwards. I let her in and she screams and cries and exhausts me mentally and physically, but afterwards? I feel so much better than the suffocating, overflowing feeling of bottling it up. I appreciate sadness. It makes happiness and the good moments mean something.

Hold on, I can't sleep with someone just watching me. I have an idea. Get on the bed. Sit above the pillow. Legs out but together. Okay, this will work. I'm going to fall asleep in your extended lap. Technically on the pillow. Now you can look down and watch me sleep. Put your hand on my shoulder or even on my head. I know.... won't feel it. But if it makes you feel more comfortable to do so, I don't mind. With the possible exception of Hope, this is your most tragic character. She doesn't even get to rest when the Sun comes up. Just turns invisible. She's still there. Still watching. Still trapped in the apartment. Just can't communicate with anyone at all. Cursed to watch but never able to participate. Imagine if one day she gets a tenant who works the graveyard shift. Reduced to two nights of interacting with another human-being. And, from experience, such a tenant is going to want to sleep for a massive amount of time that first night off per week. If I had to pick one of your characters that I'm glad doesn't actually exist, it would be her. Solely for her benefit though. What a torturous existence. She doesn't deserve that.
You know I love a little tragedy mixed into my stories and characters 🤣 when you put it that way it is really sad 🥲 I think that the concept of ghosts in general is pretty depressing in itself. To be stuck in a reality where you can’t actually do anything but watch sounds awful doesn’t it?

Going through that with no end at all, make a spirit lose it's mind. Oh! Imagine if she falls in love with our FLP. First time he thoughtlessly brings another woman home to his apartment.... Wonder if she'd take over that living woman's body. Possess her. Tempted to never give her body back. Just keep it. You could take this character in so many different directions. Fascinated to see what you do next with her. 👍
