I’m so glad that you mentioned eye protection first. I know most people hate wearing eye protection but in 25 years of tanning I’ve never once tanned without my eye protection. The ones I’ve been using for the past 10 years don’t even cause raccoon eyes. One time I was at the ER and a woman came in because she lost her vision from letting her bed heat up a long time during her first use of the year and she was in the room with the bed the whole time the bed was running with no eye protection. According to the ER doctor she was probably going to be permanently blind. My friend worked for a tanning bed warehouse and one time he installed a bed and left it running while finishing up the job because the bulbs were brand new and he was testing them. He went completely blind for several days from the UV damage to his eyes. He was very lucky that he didn’t lose his vision permanently. One of my biggest pet peeves is when parents take their babies and children into the tanning room while they tan...I know one mom that lets her son sit and read in the room with her as she tans smh. Not even remotely concerned with his skin and eyes being damaged...not to mention how gross it is for a son to watch his mom to tan naked.
Martha Stevens at the salons I’ve worked out, you arnt aloud to have anyone in the tanning room with you, not even kids due to that reason. Only allowed in the spray tan room. I’d hope all salons would have that rule!!

Another tip to those with tattoos, I’ve been tanning since 2010, back when I was 14 when you still could as a minor. I only tan a few months out of the year, but, when it comes to tattoos, I put a bit of aquaphor on mine over the tanning lotion. Keeps them looking great.

I use the reg accelerators on my face. But I’m getting old and I have dry skin…breaking out is the least of my worries.
Do the Swedish tingle drops work very good?? & if I’m using tingles I know they get me tan fast but does it just get you tan for a little bit or will you keep that dark tan for a while??

I tan regularly because I need the "sun" through the winter and I wear a sunscreen on my face. No redness and my face still tans but without as much damage.

I have seen so many videos on YT about tanning and omg you are the only one that actually knows what you are talking about. I love the iline too!!! My favorite is iparty! I work in a tanning salon in Las Vegas I love it!! Biggest pet peeve is when someone comes in with a tanning lotion from Walmart or Sally’s.. no offense to anyone but it’s a hard pass from me. Or those who tan with oil... or the ones who tan without ANYTHING.. nooooo!!! Or the ones who say I can find it cheaper on amazon.. 😬 I have seen countless people come in with a white bronzer that has turned green.. and said that they got in from amazon. It was smoke and diamonds from MR international. I pulled down the one we had in the salon and she was like “ omg I thought it was supposed to be green”

Does anyone know if the designer skin from discount sites is legit? Or does anyone have a recommendation on where to buy it for cheaper?
With tingle lotions, what do you use on your face? With all your foundations do you put them all on your face too or have a certain lotion for that? I'm trying to find facial lotions but I don't want any that won't make me as dark as the rest of my body. Thanks!
Jazmyn Torrey I use a facial bronzer called “iface” by MRI on my face it smells sooo good and gives me a great tan! I always use that with tingle lotions and a lot of other regular lotions too! I don’t really designer skin body lotions on my face cause they have a lot of stuff in them that would break me out. I do however put some of the MRI body lotions on my face because most of their ingredients are natural and they don’t irritate my face but if you don’t want to do that then just use Iface every time!!

Will they break you out? I'm prone to acne and I don't want stuff that will break me out. With those facial lotions, is your body ever lighter then your face? My face takes a long time to tan compared to the rest of my body.

Lol. Not any worse than any other part of your body. Wear a sock, boxers and pull them up.

It may not be especially damaging to your testicles, no more so than the rest of your body, but the heat from the bed can damage your sperm and lower your sperm count. So if you’re ever trying to conceive a baby either lay off the tanning bed or find a way to keep ur balls cool while tanning.

How do you do your back
There are specific applicators one from Bondi sands but also one you don't have to but replacement pads for that has like... Loops on each end and look like a black belt and put any lotion tan or not on it and act like you are using a towel to dry off, you know? Like back and forth, side to side, just ordered one from ebay for 8 bucks free shipping and machine washable
