it's so concerning how in so many of these cases someone hears something very clearly out of the ordinary and just goes about their day not even a simple police call so they can check it out is mind boggling

i often think about the kitty genovese case, she was brutally stabbed in broad daylight on the sidewalk and there were like 30 something witnesses through the whole thing and not one of them called the police or did anything, they all just stood there watching, maybe thinking someone else would do something idk but as a culture in general we're taught to mind our business around domestic violence, this infuriates me; if i'm not mistaken (i sometimes get different true crime cases scrambled in my memory) i've heard a 911 call recording from this case but the person calling (i think) was the resident of the house where the murder was happening in front of, and it took a while for that call to happen, kitty was almost decapitated, just brutal

A lot of cases for repeat offenders are not allowed to be included in trials. These people can repeat the same crime over & over, but those past crimes are not allowed to be included when being tried. A shame, because obviously repeat offenders will continue to commit these crimes the moment they get the chance.

I was around at the time that this happened. But because I was too young I did not understand the impact of this case. But now I am old enough, I now understand that this was MASSIVE. How could any judge let this extremely dangerous man out on the street, so he can have the oppotunity to terrorise so many people? Those judges should have known better that Peter was an EXTREME danger to society and they should have given him a harsher punishment for the amount of horrific crimes he committed. This is such a sickening case and it infuriates me that Australia's justice system is totally broken. They are giving dangerous criminals a slap on the wrist and people that have committed a mistemeaonir a harsher punishment which is as blind and hypocritical as ever. Those judges need to wake the fuck up and pull their heads out of their asses and do their job properly instead of making excuses for these dangerous criminals.

Bella, I really love your content and the way you tell stories, it’s like talking to a friend.
I was waiting for weeks for your new video, and it’s an amazing video as always, however, I’ve noticed that all true crime TH-camrs are leaning into harder and worse cases, and I don’t know if that’s because it attracts more viewers or what, but I feel like there are also some of us who are interested in mistery and the story, but things like things are just too hard to hear about.
Obviously, we might be just many less than the people who want to hear about awful people, but I’d just like to ask you to remember the ones who are more interested in a crazy story more than something more gore or hard to hear about.
Obviously, it’s your content, and I will happily continue watching your videos (maybe not this one or the last one) but hopefully the ones to come.

I agree with you on concurrent sentences. What's the point in sentencing someone to several different periods of time to be served for crimes and then just using one of them for the actual incarceration? There's no actual punishment occurring for several of those crimes, there's really only one being punished and the rest are brushed aside. If for example you get a sentence of 5 years for one thing, 10 for another and 5 for another, you should be serving 20 years, not 10. Where the hell is the sense in these sentences.

A bit unrelated but that picture of Peter with his shirt off makes me wonder if he has Klinefelter’s syndrome, or XXY chromosomes. It would explain his developed breast tissue (gynecomastia), his slim shoulders, and his “feminine” body fat distribution. Which would also mean he has small …gonads. Bet that really compounded his insecurities. Not that this excuses his disgusting behaviour at all, of course. There are some studies that discuss a higher rate of psychosocial issues and “sexually deviant” behaviour in people with KS, but some argue that it’s more to do with the hypogonadism (small p*nis) than the syndrome itself. But I do wonder if, say he does indeed have the syndrome and had been diagnosed and treated, if perhaps a diagnosis and appropriate treatment could have prevented some of this.

When the first photo of Peter popped onto the screen I found his eyes (the irises) to be so strikingly dark in color and large as well. I can see why several of the women who were chased by him in the cemetery had noted the intensity of his eyes. I’m sure that played into how focused and frightening he looked during the encounters.

what pisses me off is that most of these attacks could have been prevented if the judge had given this man a proper sentencing from the get go
