4:22 - "One that can blend perfectly into it's surroundings by exposing the pigments in it's cells at will." This made me literally pause the game when I heard this line. This may sound absurd, but.. What if Code Talker's research into "The One That Covers" might have been involved in developing the OctoCamo that Solid Snake uses in MGS4?
Makes sense. Based from what we've seen in MGSV, the abilities held by these Parasites Code Talker experimented on could be seen as catalysts that would later on inspire the many abilities and applications of the Nano Machines and other Nanotech-based devices used by the many characters and factions within MGS1, MGS2, MGS4 and MGR's stories.
Code Talker’s voice is just so... Melodic. The low grumble, the deep tone, the unique inflections and vowels from his accent, and his tendency for lengthy complicated words all come together to make this basically an ASMR rape bc I feel relaxed every time I hear Code Talker
I find it terrifying that in the Metal Gear universe, Vocal Cord Parasites have been around for 300 million years. Code Talker mentions that the parasites were predatory autotrophs in that time, which in a nutshell means that they were organisms that could undergo photosynthesis when in direct exposure to light. Their ability to photosynthesize explains why characters like The End, Code Talker and Quiet can thrive under sunlight without ever needing to eat. Even after millions of years, they still never got rid of their original abilities.
It's something how Code Talker is putting forth all his effort to atone for what he did in the past, and as pointed out on TV Tropes, he's such a foil to Huey. I wonder if Codetalker ever met Hal at any point in history for one reason or another.
It is deeply intelligent content. its not just fancy words or anything... it ACTUALLY MAKES SENSE as a science fiction plot line that is quasi plausible. LOVE the writing in this game.
Volgin's powers are called *Electrokinesis,* it's like a different version of Telekinesis where the person can control electricity, as opposed to moving objects with their mind. So his abilities are somewhat similar to Psycho Mantis'/Tretij Rebenok's. Volgin was most likely born with them, and they activated later in life; there's actually a theory that he was struck by lightning, which activated his electrokinesis and gave him his catch-phrase. As 'Kuwabara' is a Japanese phrase used to ward off lightning strikes. It's kind of unlikely that his powers came from parasites, unless Psycho Mantis'/Tretij Rebenok's powers came from them as well.
@@ZackExplorer28 I think code talker mentions how there are parasites that can give extreme flexibility to the user which is how the Fear had his powers and the Pain had one as well which let him control bees.

Yeah octocamo might be nanotech that works off Snake’s body, so maybe there’s a reference there.
They say the genetic part of the technical research was continued later for the cloning in zeros tapes, I can see it somewhere

Omg, I'm surprised I haven't read comment like that before. Code Talker's voice is BADASS.

Wild that they just could sit in the sun like algae and yet were still predatory for some reason

Alex Mercer it was body modifications

Psycho Mantis is geneticly made, no?
only one of the Cobra Unit got their powers from the vocal parasites. The End.

He should stop using parasite immediately after saying “in exchange for”
