Hi all. Note that Arudha calculations come with several exceptions. People may or may not choose to use these exceptions.
For instance, i
1- In our first example, lagna lord of Aries which is Mars is sitting in the 4th house. Therefore, in simple terms where we use no exceptions, the Arudha for ascendant becomes 4th from 4th i.e. Libra. However, in cases where exceptions are being used, the fact that the lagnesh is 4th from its own house means that 4th house itself i.e. Cancer becomes Arudha Lagna.
2- in our 3rd example, Saturn is placed in Lagna i.e. Capricorn. In simple terms, Capricorn becomes the Arudha Lagna but in the case of using exceptions, it could come down to the 10th house i.e. Libra.
3- In some other exceptions, if the lagnesh is 7th from ascendant, then the 4th house should be considered as the Arudha. It also explains point no. 1 where 7th house becomes Arudha in simple terms. But in case of using exceptions, the 7th arudha eventually becomes 4th Arudha giving us Cancer Arudha lagna.
It all depends on the different styles of calculating Arudha lagna. I tried to explain the simple use as well as exceptions use in the video. But remember, you are free to test out your theory- with or without exceptions. Let me know what gives you better results.

The example of light reflecting as per position of ascendant lord . That is 1st house to 4th house is same angle as 4th house to 7th house.
Plz clarify this concept for ascendant lord in ascendant scenario.
in that case, simply take 10th house as AL Of course, this is for people who are using exceptions. It is generally considered that the 10th house shows what you are able to project to the world. I have explained in video.

Hi Ashmita. If one has Kumbha lagna and one has Pisces lagna then it creates a 2-12 relationship. But sirf lagna ke basis par kundli match nahi karte.

Aap one step extra hogaye 2nd kundli (pisces lagna) 5 house apart is 8th house from lagna not 9th you do same in 1st Aries ascendant chart but not in pisces ascendant???
No. 5th from 5th is 9th.
I m little confused with the calculation. Can u kindly help me, if I tell u my rising is cancer, moon is Capricorn n sun is Pisces. What will be my AL in this case?
In simple terms, with no exceptions, your AL should be Cancer.
If you use exceptions with the rule that 7th from lagna should eventually come down to 4th, your AL should be in your 4th house of Libra.
If you use exceptions with the rule that 7th positioned lagnesh should be counted as 10th, your AL should be Aries.
There are different schools of though on this issue. I am not against using exceptions.

मैम, जैसा कि आपने मेष लग्न कुंडली का उदाहरण देकर समझाया की लग्नेश अगर चतुर्थ भाव में स्थित हो तो चतुर्थ से चतुर्थ, तुला राशि आरूढ़ लग्न बनेगी
इसी प्रकार आपने एक उदाहरण और दिया कि अगर किसी का लग्नेश लग्न में अथवा लग्नेश सप्तम में हो तो ऐसी स्तिथि में आरूढ़ लग्न दशम भाव मानना चाहिए क्योंकि दशम भाव हमारी सोशल इमेज को बताता है
मैम किसी का लग्नेश अगर दशम में ही स्थित हो तो ऐसी स्तिथि में भी दशम भाव को ही आरूढ़ लग्न मानना चाहिए अथवा दशम से दशम सप्तम भाव को आरूढ़ लग्न मानना चाहिए ? कृपया इस छोटे से कंफ्यूजन को अवश्य क्लियर करें ।

कहीं ऐसा भी पढा था कि अगर आरूढ लग्न पहले या सातवें घर में आता है तो उससे दस घर आगे और जाना चाहिए।
पहले और सातवें घर में आरूढ लग्न मान्य नहीं है।
