Looked up these majestic birds . While I watched them relaxing on your footage.
The sandhill crane (Antigone canadensis) is a species of large crane of North America and extreme northeastern Siberia. The common name of this bird refers to their habitat such as the Platte River, on the edge of Nebraska's Sandhills on the American Great Plains. Sandhill cranes are known to frequent the edges of bodies of water. The central Platte River valley in Nebraska is the most important stopover area for the nominotypical subspecies, the great sandhill crane (A. c. canadensis), with up to 450,000 of these birds migrating through annually.

We have a season for Sandhill Cranes in Utah, but I've never drawn a tag. I've heard the meat is almost like steak. I love the noises they make. My kids thought they sounded like velociraptors when they were young.
❤ whoa kool
WOW those things are huge!
Come to Florida you will see them here all year long they are called Florida Sandhill Cranes and during the winter month we get the migrating Sandhill Cranes. They are big beautiful birds and yes they will come very close to you here.
Wawwww 👍
They are common in WI. We see lots of them and I have pictures of them in my back yard. I have yet to see a little one though. They do have a unique call.
Used to see them 50 years ago all the time.
We've got thousands of Sandhills here on the Florida Nature Coast.....They are in my yard and nest just down the road!!😎
We're just now starting to see a little bit here and there
They are all over up here
