Hey bro you actually cleared a huge concern of mine haha. 1. It seems that the 150ml bottles are slightly different in dimensions where in the leather label that says “Tom Ford - Ombre Leather” actually has some groove and space and doesn’t sit flush like it does with the 100ml and 50ml bottles. 2. Also the sticker on the bottom with the batch code now has the text “Tom Ford” in the first line whereas in older batches that text was missing. I’m assured that my bottle is now legit because the leather king himself has two of the same as mine. Just one question though - my batch code is C24 and I find the performance is absolutely weak. For me this is less than a skin scent in one hour. What’s your batch code and has the performance changed over time for you? I’m thinking of letting it macerate for a bit.
@@theboyisso6960 Thank you so much my friend 🙏🏻 ✨ Yup rest assured that your bottle is 💯 genuine as I bought both mine directly from Tom Ford 😌 one of them has A24 batch code, and the other has C24 (just like yours 😉). To be honest (& my channel is all about honesty) I'm very disappointed in the performance. If I'm lucky I'll get anything over 2 hours. I have always maintained that the type of notes used plays a bigger role in performance than the concentration. The notes used in Ombré Leather (both EdP & parfum) are very smooth, soft and light, which makes them not very much long lasting. Also the leather accord is too smooth since it's a floral leather. I usually go for dark rugged bold leather fragrances which contain animalic notes, those are the longest lasting of all fragrances as a leather accord is usually made from base notes (animalic notes, resins, oud, etc.) and base notes are the longest lasting notes. The problem with Ombré Leather it's too floral (since it's made by Sonia Constant) that's why it doesn't last at all....however maturation could improve performance as usually with time notes tend to get darker and more potent so hopefully 🍀

I just looked at the notes and it looks absolutely amazing 😍 with birch leather beeswax and even oak 🪵 mmmmm 😋I will definitely try it soon because I simply adore beeswax with leather, and birch for me is one of the most important notes to have in a fragrance 🥰 I like also that it has oak. "A symbol of royalty, the oak tree was very important in France’s history. " 🇫🇷 😊

Thank you so much for your kindness 🙏🏻 ✨ my batches are actually recent (2023/2024) and the performance of the EdP is better than the Parfum, however I must say it is nothing to write home about. You'll get with the EdP about 4 hours tops (on skin)

You should test "Chêne" by Serge Lutens, but maybe you did.😀

My batch is also very new. I still get ambery notes after 9+ hours roughly 5 sprays
