Kamaal Khan rose to fame with a song in Salman Khan starrer Pyaar Kiya Toh Darna Kya. Before moving to India, Kamaal was living in UK and started working on his first song Oh Oh Jaane Jaana. The song became an instant hit. Its popularity reached Salman Khan and he decided to use that song in Sohail Khan directorial Pyaar Kiya Toh Darna Kya. The song earned Kamaal his first Filmfare award. He went on to release his albums, and later also acted in Rahul Rawail’s film Jo Bole So Nihal. According to media reports, Kamaal suddenly left India and moved back to UK. Reports linked that it was due to the Salman Khan hit and run case.
