I've Read the novel and yes there relationship is since the beginning toxic but indeed gets a lot better when the story progresses, like in unforgotten night, loved that chapter with little Salmon. I do really understand why Itt is the way he is, reacts and why Day has so much patience. And with this chapter, story amnesia from Day he will act again as he was before he was togheter with Itt. Don't know how they will show it in the series but looking forward to it.
To be fair while reading I needed a lot off time to be able to like Day because of all the bad stuff he had done towards Itt and also when in the episode he talked about the gambling and the motercylce in the novel Day was so angry he did again really bad stuff to Itt, I was angry at Day while reading, he had the right to be angry but he could have had a different approuch to it to get through to Itt.
And about the cake, when Day did terrible stuff for Itt cake was something that made him feel good and forget the bad stuff. Thats how I understood it while reading the novel. And Itt also really loves eating cake, Day hates cake.
So yes, for people who didn't read the novel, don't know there backstory Itt may seem like a loose childish canon. But its not that simple and much deeper.
I hope in the series they can show the complex relationship they have in a good way.
I think they should just program a cake delivery for every two hours so that itt can have his cake and we can watch the episode in peace 😂😂😂

If you have read the novel, it makes sense why Itt sometimes reacts the way he does. Day was cruel to him in the beginning of their relationship and sexually assaulted him a lot.

He should buy a bakery n order of workers every hour they will deliver of cake for Itt 🎂so he can eat as much as he wants lol 😂😂😂literally everytime he said he wants cake i m giggling so much 🤣🤣🤣first episode was good Itt is so childish n chaotic too on the other hand day is so passion with him atleast now my reaction was same just like tita in cake or some naughty scene 😜🤣🤣

@Tita Josie, I am not complaining, but I actually like the Love Syndrome novels, sometimes I wish the production houses would take a bit more time to properly flesh out and develop the story and characters. These stories have so much potential!
I haven’t read the novels and I have yet to watch this reaction, so my comment is based solely on what you said here.
I too wish production companies properly developed stories, but I have a theory, especially with this series.
When I’m interested in a series I look it up on mydramalist because despite the trailers I like to read the synopsis to try to get and understanding of the storyline. When I say this was technically titled Love Syndrome III and I had to look up the prequel as well.
The best way to describe my theory is that production companies tend to produce what I’m going to call safe toxicity. Instead of giving us the trauma and toxicity that I assume comes in the first two novels, they skip to the point where the couple is “happy” and sprinkle in flashbacks to try to get us yo understood certain things that happen.
For example, I read another comment that said there’s kind of a significance of cake to Itt well with out that context it makes Itt seem like an unreasonable brat. (As of typing this I have watched up to episode 4) Day said something in one of the episodes and I understood their dynamic to be that of the spoiled brat and enabler. But technically all they showe was Itt constantly complaining about cake and to be honest it just made him annoying. To the point where even though I knew Day was intentionally exploiting Itt’s feelings for him after the accident, and I knew Itt was hurting, I felt no sympathy for him.
As a viewer with no other context of the story I think it’s a bit everywhere, but with Day having retrograde amnesia it actually makes sense and works for the storyline, but I’m interested to see how well they flush out Day and Itt’s story moving forward
@@csanders I get what you're saying and appreciate the feedback. The toxic trope is a niche market so I honestly think if they're not ready to go there that's fine, but the way they have done it makes the work come across choppy and all over the place, which to me is a bit of disservice to the actors, you know?

Ok.........i had read alot of comments about Itt and Day......toxic situations......so maybe the amnesia will bring Day back about his attitude towards to Itt.....( prick....as we used to say....) I understand the attitude of Itt....( his past with Day was terrible...)....so we will see what will happen between these two...👍👍👍👍👍

Tita, yes it's a different production company. Day and Itt are a match made in toxic relationship heaven. Itt's a spoiled wilful brat and Day is his enabler. It feels almost like a daddy/little dynamic. It's a very codependent relationship.
Yes cake is life, especially when it's red velvet with a cream cheese frosting 🤤.
I'm not having high hopes for the series going forward, the terrible subtitles also don't give the impression that the company tried that hard. Unforgotten Night it was so bad it eventually got good, I feel this is just going to be bad....Check Out or 50 Shades level of bad. But who knows it might surprise me and turn out great.

I have a headache! That boy and his cake! In the next week scene Day can’t remember anything about ITT he goes back to when he was with Kamol. So will Day look for Kim because he was sort of with Kim then if I’m remembering the series! This is going to be interesting since I didn’t see 1 or 2

Mmmmm! I don't know if I like Itt yet! I'll wait for his character arc . Normally, you are made to like the main character, so that you are invested in their story... so far, not so much. I'll wait and see. Unforgotten Night was OK! I liked the characters... the overall presentation of the series could have definitely been better but it PASSED. This... we'll see.

I am finding it hard to see Itt and Day from Unforgotten Night as these 2 characters.This version of Itt is such a spoilt baby. I find that characteristic unattractive. And I have a really issues with their hairstyles. They look bad.
I like the fact that Day and Itt are engaged, and it seems to be a long engagement which their parents/relatives approve of.
I’ll give it a few more episodes but ep one was terrible. The subtitles made no sense. Nothing happened except Itt’s obsession with cake and two year old throwing a tantrum behavior.
