Hey people! There's this scam that i got scammed by once, and I want to tell you people so you guys know when you see it.
So they put a rare item on their trade (like a spike) and then they make another account and put something cheap in that account's trade. (like a dinosaur tail.) Then they put their main account in a server that's popular and tell people that they're doing a giveaway (in this case, a spike) then when people come to their den, the person puts themselves and the extra account they made earlier in the den. Then when people try and trade the account with the spike. When the main account gets an offer, they decline and say they only want an item that their extra account has (like a dino tail) so people will overtrade for the cheap item that the extra account has so they can get the cheap item to trade for the spike and when they do, BOOM! The person just scammed them.
To avoid being scammed if they go too far just leave its better to leave them or lock your den then to fight back to them
Here’s another thing..... When someone asks to try on your stuff. They say they will return it but really they won’t. This just happened to me but good thing I didn’t let her. You can do this if it’s with a person you know in real life. This gives the ability to confront them about it. But still, just don’t do it.

If I ever get scammed, I tell my buddies, who say something along the line of “I’m sorry” I just tell them it’s alright, I’ll get a new one eventually, and to report the scammer.

Another scam is when people say that they know how to duplicate items.
The first and only time I ever got scammed was: someone was playing a ‘trust game’ with us. Sort of like the last method of scamming. I fell for it and lost my entire ice set, but I got my ice set back this past winter when it came back in stores.
My raccoon was scammed a while back, they said they’d “borrow” it. I was overly trusting at the time And I let her. She then just so suddenly went “gotta go bye” and left. I still feel foolish after that day but I hope karma strikes her hard. Too bad I don’t remember her user though, I learned the hard way but this video is very useful for those who don’t know these scams. Thank you for making this. :3

You should of included the ones saying they are in a hospital cause they have cancer or whatever + the ones that say it's their birthday trade me betas, but whatever you wanna do is fine with me as long and you keep making awesome content
When it was my actual bday I was play ajpw. They told me I would be having fun with my family. (I am not that type of person.)
There’s another major way you can get scammed, and this happened to me myself. If your trying to trade more then 4 items (The trade limit) you’d have to do items in separate trade. NEVER DO THIS! The other person would most likely ask you to trade the “worst” items first for some unwanted thing they have, and then after trade the rest of the items for the actual thing you want. But.. Most of the time, after you trade the first 4 items, the other person will leave.
This stuff happens on the browser Animal Jam too! Also, I feel kind of bad for the people WHO ACTUALLY GET SCAMMED and nobody gifts them one or anything.
This has happened to me twice (one time with Nutcracker Boots and the other with snowy owl wings), these ppl ask you if they can try on your stuff but when you say no they keep begging and then say that they're reporting you. The first time it happened they unbuddied me and ran away with my boots, the second time they were one of my really good buddies and they kept saying they swore to god they would give it back but everytime I tried to get it back they just declined or ignored, TRUST ME NEVER TRUST ANYBODY WHO ASKS TO TRY ON YOUR STUFF IT IS A SCAM!!!
Hey! I have another type of scam to look out for! It’s less common.
So it’s basically a trade me anything and I’ll trade you back. So as people are trading there learning to trust the person for not scam. They will even trade back good items like dual and forest. But then once they get a trade they really like they lock out and won’t trade back
One really popular scam I hear of is trying to take ur rares so u can “join” the pack that they are in...
Basically it’s someone who wants you to give them rares and betas to be in their pack but when you do, they kick you out and keep your items..
Just avoid this by sayin naw or somethin
How to avoid being scammed:
1. If someone says, "Giveaway my den!" and it's trust, ask them to let you trade for it. They will likely say no, if they say no, it's likely to be a scam.
2. (Be careful for Arudy!) If they ask you to accept fast, DON'T! They buy pet items and trick you!
3. If they buddy you, and tell you to go to their den, DON'T GO! Scammers buddy you so they can lock you out, just like the other victims!
4. THIS IS A MAJOR SCAM. SOME ARE REAL, BUT MOST AREN'T. People will say, "Trade me a *(insert item here)* and you'll get a sapphire drop!" Don't trade them that item! It's most likely to be a scam
5. Never trust trade. Trust trading is a major scam, too. Even if it's a great friend, they can scam you.
6. Never cross trade. They won't trade you the item on Play Wild that you wanted. This is also a major scam.

Most common scam somebody takes you to there den then they say I’ll give you (insert good item word) for that blackout spike or other good rare word they don’t got that item on there trade list so what to do ask for it to be on or wear it if they say no it a scam another scam is when somebody goes buy from my shop I drop
1:40 I met somebody who had a buddy who said flower crowns were trash. That person got their flower crown scammed and because I wasn't using mine I have them mine.

I saw someone today saying "Trade me nutcracker boots my sister is sick" there oufit was a common one that everyone wears nutcracker boots with. Black and White fur and a black spike.
Ik 2 kinds of scams:
1. If a person says that they will trd wut ur offering for after cuz they can’t trd it right now
2. If a person says that it’s a lesson to teach u how to trd better and trds trash for ur rares
I almost got scammed, someone was saying "Trade me fair and you get my outfit!" So i went to their den. Their outfit was rainbow spike and some sorta yeti mask. They said to put offer on trade and they wanted my Flower Crown and Black Spike for outfit. I told them put the outfit on trade and i would gladly give them the items they wanted. They insisted that i just trade and they would trade after (at this time i was and i still am hungry for a double tail and rainbow spike cri) and I said no, put your items on trade, and ill give you the items you want. After a bit of arguing she locked us out (me and a few others). No body got scammed and we reported her. We dont know if shes still scamming. We will never know if she was scamming. NEVER DO THESE TRADES! And dont r/thathappened me (unless its a joke) coz this really happened. Thanks for reading this.

I got scammed and I was saying I got scammed which was true but the first one isn't always a scam ask the person what happened but if it doesn't sound true then don't trade. I put a fair item on trade for it and got the item back though!
Scammers are getting smarter... someone once said, “Best trade wins blackout or rainbow spike!” And I was like... “Can I see both of them?” ...they actually showed me a rainbow spike and said their friend had the blackout (by that, I’m assuming they didn’t have a blackout bc I never saw it but I dunno)

I don’t trade. Every since something happened... I don’t trade, unless it’s very little like a RIM or a RIM (rare item Monday) or just giving away common stuff like stuffed animals and store items
So, my ice dragon wings were scammed about a week ago, and someone said “what’s wrong?” And I told them what happened, and they said go to their den and I said,”ok?” They asked me if I wanted griffin wings and I said it’s fine I don’t want to take your stuff over a dumb scammer, but they insisted, but here comes the bad part, they said,”I’ll give u griffin wings if I can try on your blackout stylish glasses, and I was a bit confused and I thought,”are they seriously trying to scam me when I JUST got scammed?” And I told them I don’t do that, and they said,”plz I don’t scam I promise pretty plz” and I repeated, no. I don’t do those. And they said “I never scam I just wanna try them on.” Then I left the den. I didn’t want to get scammed again. Now it’s not a big deal, someone was nice enough to get me a rare double tail for free, remember guys, DONT let anyone try on your things, even your BEST friends

Please do avoid this one. I'll explain a story of how I witnessed it. I was not the one who got scammed, but I would like to spread awareness of this one.
What is trust?
Trust is when someone says something along the lines of, "I will give you (item) if you offer me your highest items. I will give the items back at the end, don't worry!" If you are to accept the trade, they are very extremely likely to not give it back.
My story:.
I was in Jamaa, and I happened to see someone saying, "Giveaway my den! List will be given away." They had an art plaque and a paintseed tree on their trade list.
I went to their den, mainly just to see if it was a scam, but I ended up participating anyways.
So, the person came to their den, and did some "warmup games" and gave out random but very unrare items. I won one of them, if you are curious.
They then proceeded to explain the "final game" (basically trust) and said, "Declining the trade after you trade it to me counts, but it isn't worth as much as if you were to accept."
I had been scammed about three times in my overall experience of AJPC and AJPW (AJPW about 4-5 years, and PC being 3-4 years). I did not accept. I decided to be careful.
Slowly but surely, people left or just simply gave up. It was down to me and a New Jammer sloth. I remember the sloth stating that they had never been scammed before, and I was starting to think it wasn't a scam myself (especially after the scammer explained it had never been meant to scam people).
The sloth traded the scammer a paintseed tree, and the sloth was asking for the paintseed tree they had traded back, and we both got locked out.
Since I had just experienced it and wasn't just told it, I buddies the sloth and gave away a spare RIM Dragonfly wings.
I don't know if we're still buddies, but I haven't seen her around.
Anyways, if you see anything like the above then please warn people it's a scam. For you, the person reading my story, if anything is too good to be true: it probably is. The only jammers that can be trusted are the developers like AJHQ.

One time on AJ browser, some guy just came into my den trying to undertrade for my Sweet Throne, and when I said I had to go, they said "Wait, can I try it in my den first?" No, you can't. I was already leaving, so I just shut off my Chromebook. I thought that was the epicest gamer moment ever 👌
(By the way, this person was a member with a black long, probably scammed that too)

I must mention another scam that happened to me: trust trading. The person promises that they will trade back and then when you least expect it, most of you get locked out. How to avoid it: don't trade, don't go to the person's den if it's there.
Well, I got scammed once like this. my friend said "come to my den. I'm quitting." Then me being the nut I am I went. He said that if I trade him my red flower crown he would give me a bunch of pink and blue ones and I believed it. When I was putting bad on my trade list he locked me out. I was crying for days because I worked so hard to get that flower crown.
Btw to all the scammers and hackers, stop it. You are basically making people sad

A way to also avoid being scammed is letting ppl borrow your items. To avoid this, just say "I would like you to try it on, but I dont like ppl trying on my things" They will beg, but you could just block them even if they get upset. 😉 And yes I unfortuatly learned this the hard way XD Nice video Btw!!!

Well, I learned the hard way... with my bff. She was my world, she was all I had in the real world. And she said "Can I borrow it plz plz I just wanna try it on. Please!" And I trusted her (irl bff) and then... she locked me out and kept it... and she moved far away from me. The worst part was that I had Dragon wings and she only had a princess necklace. Watch out!

The first one happened to me, I had a red flowercrown once on a diff account, and one of my buddies come in and say. "My red flower crown was just scammed so please give me yours" and I said "I'm sorry you were scammed, but no" (and she never had a flowercrown BTW) and I unbuddied her and locked her out tho
