@@CyberXIII I know, Because they're Octo clones, so The Octarians Took some of the DNA from Spider and Inkura to Create The Octoling Versions.

@@CyberXIII no I was thinking of that, No reason why there is no video that reveals the octoling versions of the characters origins, for me I think of it they were clones, like in Octo expansion when Agent 8 was born.

Am I the only one who feels bad for the octolings? I mean, they lived underground and without light, and the inklings don´t help them because of a war. At least since octo expansion that doesn´t happen anymore

So this video make me think when inklings are fighting octolings, on the side of inklings seems like octolings are the bad guys, but actually from the side of octolings is the same but inklings looks like the bad guys, so my conclusion is, No one is the bad guy, everyone wants the samething, freedom and peace, maybe if they talk one to each other :/

The Octarians waged war against Inkopolis out of desperation since their homes were running out of power and were getting harder and harder to maintain. While it would be likely they could come to an agreement, old grudges are most likely keeping that from happening.
