I appreciate I'm late to the party...is it possible to change availability so it is different for each week? Example: first two weeks of February mornings only...last week of February afternoons only... Would really be cool and useful as I work a shift pattern. Cheers
thank you i added the plugin and it is very easy to use. Can we add the calendar to a word press button in a link format that will open a page to book appointment instead of having a whole section for it?
Sure, you're welcome to create a brand new page on your website fully dedicated to the booking calendars, you can then take this page's URL and link it to buttons across your website.
Thanks for your video. It's very clear and concise. I have issue, the calender layout looks like horizontal layout for my end. I want something like 9:56. Instead it looks like row by row. IDK, did they change. I would be greatful if you can tell me. Have a great rest of your day!!!
Great video. Two things can you use text messaging with this plugin or does it integrate with Omnisend and can you only access the simply plugin via the dashboard or is there an app?
Hello! Yes, we offer SMS sending with the plugin through the Twilio platform. And, SSA can only be accessed through the WordPress dashboard at the moment, though you could sync to your Google Calendar so that you can see all your appointments through your Google Calendar app on your phone :)
Thank you so much for a great tutorial :) Where can I change the language and text on, for example, buttons? I mean, the button says "book an appointment" - where do I change that to only "book"?
You're welcome and I'm glad you found it helpful :) As for your question, we currently have three options to change the text in the booking app, from using a plugin to editing the PHP. Here’s one of our guides to show you through the steps for any of those options: ssappts.com/guides/edit-phrases-labels-calendar/
Hello, very good tutorial. Is there a way to connect booking system to one's phone so that the owner of the business can be notified or do they have to log into wordpress in order to see any scheduled appointments?
Good question! Many customers use the Google Calendar sync to allow clients to see their appointments from their phones, desktop, and tablets without having to log in to WordPress. Another great addition would be the SMS feature to send your client notifications through text messages :) simplyscheduleappointments.com/guides/upgrading-to-the-pro-edition/#sms-and-email-reminders-and-follow-ups
After a succesful setup it shows on my website "There are no available appointment times". I followed all the steps as you shown here. Can you give me a solution for this?
Notifications feature is not working. I am not receiving email after a successful appointment booking. Edit: I figured it out. The default PHP mailer was unable to send mail in bulk so I configured wp mail smtp plugin and it worked.
I'm glad you liked the video :) And, yes, the customer is automatically sent a link to edit the appointment via email. Upgraded versions of the plugin can also provide this link via Google Calendar invites and SMS.
Hi, this is great but i'm actually getting a blank white screen when I click on the 'Book An Appointment' button after testing. How can I resolve this?
@@ssappts Thank you. I emailed you. Also, I don't have Elementor on my website, i'm using Mikado. Is there a way to implement the Booking Plugin via Mikado instead of Elementor???
Very nice tutorial, thanks! Just one question so far. Can you set it up so the customers can only choose a full day instead of hours? Glad to see there's the option to change the language to Dutch! :)
To make sure you receive the booking email notifications, you'll need to review the "Send To" settings in the plugins notification editor. We have a guide to show you where that's located and how that field works: ssappts.com/guides/email-notifications/#send-to-cc-and-bcc-fields-to-choose-who-receives-notification
Using Elementor, you would need to create a Popup Template containing the Appointment Booking widget and set it up following their guide, here: elementor.com/help/how-do-i-create-my-first-popup/ I hope this helps! Feel free to also contact our support team if you have more questions: support@ssaplugin.com
Hello there, yes Simply Schedule Appointments offers a shortcode option so that you can embed the booking calendars in a popup :) We also have a few different shortcode attributes to customize the calendars that you display: simplyscheduleappointments.com/guides/display-the-booking-calendar/
The booking widget is under the name "Schedule an Appointment", but note it's only visible after installing the Simply Schedule Appointments plugin; we offer a free Basic Edition too, so you can test it out with Elementor: simplyscheduleappointments.com/integrations/elementor-appointment-booking/
I'm afraid SSA cannot be embedded through an HTML widget. Instead, the plugin has its own Elementor widget, so you can drag and drop it into any page and layout.
@@ssappts darn. i hope you will consider providing a shortcode in the future. i am creating a pop up using elementor pro that has a series of steps using a form widget. in the form widget you can add an item and then select it's type. HTML is one of the types. If you offered a shortcode i would be able to put the appointment setting functionality into my popup. This is vital. because my client wants the customer to click his "request estimate" button and it opens a pop up where the customer selects in a series of steps the project type, contact info, describe project, upload images, and finally schedule an appointment. the widget unfortunately is of no use to me.
@@BlackJacketJones Thanks for the extra details! SSA does offer shortcodes, here's the link to that documentation: simplyscheduleappointments.com/guides/display-the-booking-calendar/#shortcodes-overview But, I'm afraid embedding SSA into the form widget via HTML may create a few extra unwanted steps. For example, I believe the user will have to fill out their Name and Email twice - once in the original form and another time in the SSA booking form. An alternative would be to use our Formidable Form or Gravity Form integration to create a booking form. Within these integrations SSA simply acts as another form field so that you can embed only the booking calendar part into any form including estimate forms. You can then embed those forms into your Elementor popup :) Here's a link to one of our demo sites using the form integration: gravity-forms.ssa.rocks
Hello! Yes, SSA offers Stripe and PayPal as payment options in the Professional Edition of the plugin. As for the email address approval, we'll need more details to confirm. Could you send us an example of what you're looking for with the email address approvals? Reach out to us directly at support@ssaplugin.com and we can let you know if that's possible 👍
Hello there, at this time Simply Schedule Appointments doesn't provide the ability to sell packages and memberships. We're planning an integration with Memberpress that should handle this type of functionality, but we don't have a solid ETA for this yet.

I do not recommend this plugin. If you don't have an expensive subscription - the plugin stops working, no matter what you paid before. Support is horrible.
Hello there, I'm sorry you've had an unpleasant experience with SSA :( We're happy to work with you and figure out how we can make this up to you. Just contact our team at support@ssaplugin.com The yearly subscription to SSA includes premium support, continued updates, and compatibility fixes.
