This is how I feel about the bullies and people who bully me every day. I can tell the emotion in this. The chorus is powerful to me because I do it a lot.
I relate to this song very heavily, unfortunately. The tendency to fight for the hearts of those who couldn't care less about you, or worse, can only deprive one of their ability to spend energy on themselves. I wish I'd had this song earlier in life, but I'm sure it will help many on choosing themselves when it matters. Thank you for another masterpiece!

This song helps alot, it puts into word perfectly how I felt in the process of losing who I thought was my best friend.
I realized (rather late) that im jst another person to him and after standing my ground and asking for what i felt I deserve, he chose to make excuses and dropped me then and there. A year+ friendship gone in a single message.
I still think abt it because ofc its a traumatic experience, but im never sorry I made that decision ❤
