I really love this idea, but wondering how the water will drain off since our pergola is flat. Wouldn't the water be a puddle up there since it is flat? Thank you.
Does this work in Michigan with heavy snow? My pergola is flat roof and we get crazy amount of snow in winter and I worried about the weight it can carry and also what about the heavy winds?
When we're working with flat roofs, shims are installed to create slopes. Winds & snow loads can vary depending upon which system you choose. Apollo system is 40 lbs per SF & 120 mph winds. Our Hercules system is recommended for snow areas. For our Hercules 8mm, 24" spacing equates to 50 lbs per SF & 139 mph winds. For our Hercules 20mm, 24" spacing equates to 85 lbs per SF and 182 mph winds. Can this product be used on a mosquito cage? I live in Orlando, FL and would be interested in designing this into my patio cage project. If this is something that can be done, please send me your contact info:)
Is there any impact rating? How does it perform in hail?

When our covers are installed, they are done so with a slope to help with drainage. Gutters can also be added if you wish.
When heavy rain hits the sky poly is it loud in the rooms adjacent to the pergola?
It's slightly louder than a normal roof but not bad at all!
where can you get a Pergola skipoly in Los Angeles?
