There was a lot of rubbish in the long grass. It would have been better to pick up all the rubbish before you started cutting the grass.

very true mate. i did pick a lot up but there was loads buried and with each cut it revealed more.

to be honest, if it was a regular cut i would have asked them to tidy up before future visits. with a cut like this, its clear they dont look after their garden at all, its not only great for them and gives them a restart but its a massive benefit for their neighbours too.
also with every cut it revealed more waste so she would have been out every 30 mins to pick up more.
