Thank you for this. Very informative. Watching the live edit of a full episode seems daunting at first, but I learned several new Ferrite techniques that I haven’t seen in any tutorial videos so far. I very much appreciate you providing this. I’m a huge fan of horror, as well, so discovering your podcast was a nice bonus. Thanks again, and keep up the good work!
Amazing video exactly what i was looking for. Also i’m not a fan of horror, but the way you presented made me want to listen to more of your podcast. Consider me a new sub to your podcast
Great video thank you for this. Any chance you could give some advice on post-processing like compressor normalisation noise reduction? My audio doesnt sound clear and clinical enough.
Well, this all sounds great. However, I am a blind user and have been told that Ferrite is very accessible. Yet, I still have not mastered how to mark a block in a file to just cut out. Years ago, I worked with Sound Forge on a Windows PC. What am I missing?
Great tutorial, thanks for showing your whole process. Do you ever record (and edit) in a multitrack fashion? I’m curious if Ferrite can handle an edit across two tracks at once, like if you have two people/microphones. So if you’re cutting out a mistake or a long gap, can you delete it from both tracks simultaneously?
I have gone through all of the settings an done numerous searches on TH-cam to see how to do your drag selection with the Pencil and cannot seem to make it happen. Can you advise how to do the drag select with the Apple Pencil?
jaffe Setting>Editing>Gestures & Pencil and turn on “Quick Select.” Also, you have to have the pencil currently paired, or ferrite won’t even show you that option. Those menus are hard to navigate, but it’s in there!
Brian Schell I that setting turned on and it suddenly decided to start working. Changed nothing. My iPad must have seen this conversation and got scared. Thank you for the assist!

WOW thank you for the video! Now I know Ferrite may be the right App for me.

Zackary Russell I suspect it can do this, although I’ve only use a single main audio track.
How can I empty my I cloud. I just deleted so many videos and photos but my. iCloud is full of my photos
Thanks a lot for this Tutorial!
Hey! Is very difficult to watch your screen...Please, can you show us your ipad screen in OBS?
Can you help with adding multiple mics on this app?
Haleigh Lewis Never tried that. Either you’d need a hub to plug in more than one, or maybe it’s not even possible. I’m not sure.

jaffe I don’t think you can do that gesture with the free version. The pro edition adds several pencil gestures.
Brian Schell I have the pro version.
