虽然还有几期播客我没听完，但我觉得这是到现在最有意思的一期了。这种问题总是很难解决，因为是跟人们的观念有关的。政策或者法律当然可以实行，但如果人的看法不变了老问题就继续存在。我怕要等好久才可以说男女平等真正的存在了。直到那个时候，只能够一直做小进步，逐渐改变文化。当然，这都是我个人的想法作为一个美国男的，所以我的角度可能稍微一点点不太对劲😐。

Thank you, Shenglan, an excellent podcast with some new vocab and interesting subject matter. The extra length of the podcast also made it possible to get fully absorbed in listening to Chinese. Thanks for your efforts. Long time student of Chinese from Sydney, Australia. Maybe one day you can show us how to post Hanzi here so we can also comment in Chinese rather than English. Unless you prefer the English comments, of course! By the way, I studied Chinese as my major at University of Canberra and Russian as my sub major, just as you studied Russian, which was interesting to hear! Thanks

Good analysis! Even though 普通而自信 has the word for 'ordinary' in it, I don't think the saying is attacking ordinary men, just arrogant men. I don't know why this is so hard for some men to understand (and I'm a guy myself, ha). Arrogance isn't attractive on anyone, whether you are ordinary or not.
