I've just been trying to change over my key fob I have a Toyota aygo I presume the switches need soldering on i don't have a soldering iron so guess I'll only be able to use my open key and not closed lol o oh well least I tried
My key fob just drains it battery in few days. I've cleaned the entire pcb using 99% iso alcohol with a esd brush, i've replaced both micro switches.. you got any idea what to try?
Hello, i dit the same thing. The central locking works perfect, but the car will not turn on (ignite) when using this key. I will need to use the normal key, the one without central locking, to ignite the car. Does anyone have an idea how to fix this problem?
Thanks for video, I've just replaced a broken microswitch. If I do it again I would shield the contacts of the microchip as I dropped solder on them, causing the key to fail. Once spotted and cleaned off, key works perfectly, thanks so much!
You need to ensure the small transponder in original key fob into new one.. look up my key transponder.. engine won’t start as yo7 need transfer the transponder is a very small part in original key.. I hope this helps

I need a new key fob. Can't find a new one anywhere. Can anyone help?

You need to use transponder or ignition won’t work without t immobiliser transponder it’s a small carbon block instead de back of inner key fob ..
