He’s got more of a human-based mind than Astro, so he’s kinda dumb at the beginning, kinda worse than 60’s and 80s Ep 1 Astro, constantly having to ask what certain things are. But in the few clips and episodes I’ve seen, he really matures and learns about different feelings humans, and he, has.

@@SMAXZO Yeah but technically A-106 is a beta version of Astro. To me, their personalities are a bit similar but not quite. Mostly because A-106 was really shy and had no problem defeating other robots. Idk, maybe that's just because he was a beta version of a robot with kokoro and wasn't fully developed yet. He did have feelings towards humans though.
this reminds me of the 1950s astro boy live action show that came before the anime. astro looked almost identical to jetter mars with the hair and all, just without the cape and belt. also, i only found out about jetter mars just now. is this an alternate universe or something? because theres a guy that looks identical to tenma in the car but everyone else looks different.

小学生の子供の頃に見ていて好きなアニメでした。
時は2015年、子供の頃には途方もない未来に思えました。
時は進んで1995年、とある人型決戦兵器のアニメを見ていてこれも舞台が2015年、奇妙な年代の符合でついジェッターマルスを思い出してました。
ただこのと時も、まだ20年ほど先の話、少し未来、という感覚だったんですけどね、なお今は時は2022年になっていた。

Finally got my hands on this show! I love these old anime! I had a Tezuka soundtrack in the early 2000's and this got stuck in my head.
