I cover the nightlife in Phuket with these videos and today we visit Bangla Road Walking Street.
Hi friends - Normally I film the video from Bangla Road on Saturdays, but this time I choose to do it Wednesday. That is because the weather is a little unstable at the moment and I wanted to try out a handheld edition with another lens.
I call it the NightCrawler edition, because I can move too much with this setup. I know it´s really shaky already.
Bangla Road is looking nice today. Its not packed, but still nice!

@@ninemedia-thailand2500 I understand about stability. Back in the day, I started with a 35mm screw mount Ricoh. Moved to Nikon. Then my ex brother in law got me into medium format (Mamiya 645.) Wound up with 2 bodies and lenses from 24mm full frame fisheye (16mm equivalent), up to 500mm (300mm equivalent). Needed a full size back pack to lug it all. A tripod was essential. I did get some great shots at the F1 race in Montreal.

With this smaller camera, the look, the scenes are more similar point of view compared to what others may load on TH-cam, but the quality is undoubtly much professional one. There seems to be also a better acceptance from the girls in the bars: they seems not scared at all to you filming them, where you have so many that hide their face when using your pro-equipment.
Also thanks for showing part of the live shows, as I mentionned in a recent comment.
Final point: whatever the equipment you use, the people in bars (especially Pink Paradise) looks allways wellcoming you and pleased to see you! A proof that the guy behind the camera and his behaviour is essential for the final quality of the video. Great job!!!

Enjoyable as always! Nice work Jesper. It’s good to dabble. If there was a way to minimize the loss of focus it would be easier on the eyes. I also noticed that compared to previous videos you seem to jump around a lot at times. I guess it was so busy and so much talent around you just couldn’t help yourself. 😂

Hi Jesper.. the new lense is nice.. make it more focused on things when you move around.. not like the 170° cams where all look focused.. this here i prefere more. But sometimes it feels a littel shaky.. is it the stabilizer?.. I think some runs with this came you can make it more smooth and also now how the autofocus runs in the situations.. For me, i like the new style :) .. and also the music is nice again ;)

I agree that this camera is an upgrade, and that it would be beneficial to get a gimbal or something. I used to have a DJI Ronan and that worked very well, and it was actually cheaper in Thailand than in Denmark.
