Fixed: How to Fix iPhone 7 (Plus) That Won’t Turn on | Black Screen | Won’t Power On After Charging

- You’ll learn what to do if your iPhone 7 or iPhone 7 Plus won’t turn on. When your iPhone 7 doesn’t turn on or it becomes stuck and unresponsive when you turn it on, you might see nothing but black on the screen. The reason why your iPhone 7 turned off and won’t turn back on can be due to the software glitch, dead battery, the charging issue, and hardware problems like the cracked screen. Whatever the reason, you can still fix iPhone 7 not turning on with ease.
First, force restart your iPhone 7. Just press and hold down both Side button and Volume down button until Apple logo shows up. Then your iPhone 7 should turns back on.
If your iPhone 7 doesn’t power on after the hard reset, plug your device into power and let it charge for at lease 30 minutes and then force it to restart again. If your device still won’t power on or charge and you don’t see any battery charging icon, check out the charging cable, charger and power source and then charge and do a forced restart again.
If your phone still doesn’t turn on, plug your iPhone 7 into computer and open iTunes or Finder. Then, keep holding Side button and Volume down button until you see the recovery mode screen. Go back to computer and select Update first. If your iPhone 7 still doesn’t come back on, back up your device and restore it to factory settings.
If your iPhone 7 will not turn on after hard reset, after being charged overnight, or after restore, after screen or battery replacement, or after being dropping down, take your device to Apple Support Center to get it repaired.

Nothing seemed to work tried all steps. The charging port is clean and the charger itself works as I tried it on a different device. Not even holding buttons or plugging into the pc could get it to boot. So I’m guessing I’ll try to take it to a shop and get a battery swapped
If your iPhone 7 still won't turn on even after you do a restore, then it seems that it's a hardware related problem and you should go to Apple certified store for help.

If you're fixing iPhone 6 not turning on, you need to force restart the device by holding both the Home button and the Power button together until you see the Apple logo. Let me know if you have any further question.

@@weak.gaming If the force restart doesn't help, you can try updating your iPhone under recovery mode. First, connect your device to a computer and open iTunes or Finder. Then, press and keep holding both the Home button and the Power button until you see a cable pointing to computer or iTunes. Then, go back to iTunes or Finder and choose Update from the pop-up message. Let me know if you have any further question.

Needed to use my fathers phone, my iPhone 7plus I’ve been using for almost 6 or 5 years has suddenly stopped working for the forth time. I think it has finally reached its time but I do not wanna think that so I just wanna say that my phone is cold and dead. I did everything to try get it on and plus get it repaired. They said “it’s not turning on” and I was REALLY pissed about it. I just hope it does end like this because I haven’t transfer my data to another iphone.

Doing a forced restart and doing an update via recovery mode won't delete anything on your phone. However, doing a restore under recovery mode will wipe clean your phone, including your photos.

You should try charging your iPhone by plugging it into the wall power. Sometimes the laptop USB port doesn't provide enough power to charge an Apple iPhone.

I was going thru some anger issues and I threw my phone at the wall, and it’s not turning on at all, I’m freaking out… when I put the cable in it turned it on but it glitched back off when I disconnected
Sounds like an issue with motherboard trust me mine is messed up too

I wish I could try this but i have a useless windows 10 that never updated to the November 2021 update due to lack of data. So if you find a way to update it without a pc, that would be a lot of help!
If you don't have a computer, go to Apple to borrow one to fix the issue.

You need to delete some temporary files and other files to free up space. You also need to optimize the computer. It's very easy to free up space then update Windows 10. There are videos on TH-cam how to do it.

It could be a software problem or a physical screen problem. Try force restarting your iPhone 7 at 0:37. Then,try updating the iOS at 2:01. If they both fail, you can restore it in recovery mode. If the screen still won't turn on and remain black after restore, then it could be a problem with the screen. You need to repair it at Apple.
