    Gaming today might have reached a different level, but these games that we all played back then will always remain at the top. The graphics, the music, the creative levels, small details like Abu following Aladdin, people watching out of windows etc. A pure feel of we being in Agrabah surrounded everytime ! Pure nostalgia.. 😊

      The Snes library in general is solid proof that for certain game genres like 2d sidescrollers and JRPGs, the graphics really just didn't need to improve, they'd reached their peak 30 years ago

      They had actual Disney animators make the graphics, then they were digitized into sprites.

Wake up and play before school, come home and have a "15 min snack in front of the TV" before homework/dinner, then get the major bits in till bedtime. Then came Fridays... head straight from school to Blockbuster, rent a couple games, go home, order pizza, and vooooooosh~ Then get every bit of gametime in over the weekend. Sunday night; last call, grind those games out!

      @@nsasupporter7557 It really wasn't, outside of it's animations, it was a mess of level design, unclear paths through stages, places you had to jump to that you couldn't tell were backgrounds, or places you could land on. Not to mention drab colors, and unlike this version, didn't follow the movie all that well. Aladdin in the movie technically did not use a sword to fight, he used his wits. In this version Aladdin would use wits, whether hitting enemies with apples, or jumping on them to get away, and follows the movie far more closely. I'd trust Capcom game design over the designers behind the Genesis game as Capcom had an excellent track record of being great during the 16 bit era.
      The Genesis version gets far too much praise, it's design is absolutely atrocious, as a lot of western made games tended to be in those days. I own both, I'd play this version any day over my Genesis version. Give me stuff like Alisia Dragoon if I must play my Genesis, the Genny version of this to me, is just a collection piece.

    • @nsasupporter7557
      @nsasupporter7557 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@Bloodreign1 dude, I don’t care what you say… That all sounds like a personal issue. I had absolutely no problems with this game at all. I had an absolute blast with this game way more than I ever did with the crappy SNES Aladdin game. And part of that has to do with the fact that you had a sword and could throw apples, SO WHAT if that wasn’t in the movie! I’ve argued that same boring argument before with clowns like you who like the SNES game better. It’s a freaking video game and it made it more fun that way, to me.

It really gave you that feeling of some interactive Disney movie back then. The only thing I didn't like was the lack of difficulty. After the first two levels the gameplay just felt repetetive without raising the bar. It wasn't very challenging.

@@nsasupporter7557 Just listened to both versions. SNES version is miles ahead and way better than that of the MEGA DRIVE (Genesis) version. It's not even in the same league to be comparable. SNES sounds almost like an orchestra is playing while MEGA DRIVE sounds just a little better than an 8-bit NES chiptune. Go listen to both of them to refresh your memory.

      @@clapiotis I think you need to be refreshed on the design… the Sega version looked like a real animation. The SNES version looked like a barely 8-bit NES chiptune. My opinion still stands

      @@alexgarcia7104 they're both great games. just because someone prefers one over the other and grew up with it, doesn't make it miles better. they're both probably 9/10 games, and are both fantastic. there are no bragging rights when it comes to these 2 very different gems
