Well explained - timely changes of spark plugs can make a difference to the running of the engine and if left too long a big difference. Warning - I noticed the coil packs were 'Made in Germany' if they ever need changing you'd probably want proper made in Japan ones. Changing those plugs is so much easier than on the my wife's VWSkoda where you need the faffing of removing the air filter housing, possibly have a special coil puller tool, special plug socket tool, suitable grease for coil pack rubbers, no wonder platinum and Iridium spark plugs (which need a wire gap checking tool) are used.
Once again, another great video. I have to use special thin walled sockets on my plugs. It was a pain in the A, when I first did my plugs. I also couldn’t find any spark plug figures for mine, as they say it’s how it is, when it comes out of the box… hmmm lol. Have a good day
Hello good Sir. Hope all is well. I am sorry if my comment/question it not related to the video. Do you have or are planning to have a video on how to clean the throttle for the Nissan k11? love your videos and explanation on the Nissan k11. Keep up the good work. 👍👌
Hello. Glad you like the channel. Thank you. I haven't filmed a throttle cleaning video for the K11. However, I'll pop it on the maybe list for the future. Best wishes from CarSpyTV.
thanks for this super helpful video! this will save me the money from going to a professional. just one question, is it an easy job to change the oil and oil filter on this car without having a ramp or my own garage?
Glad the video helped. As for the oil change, it can be done without a ramp. You only need to get under the car to access the sump plug and filter. So, I suggest you check you can reach them before committing to the job. You can always jack the car up if needed. More Micra content to follow at CarSpyTV.
I'm not saying that's wrong but you always need to double and treble check any information you get particularly from the likes a of a Haynes manual. Very often the very best place to look is the original Owner's Manual that came with the car when it was a new car (unless it's a modern German car).
Is that the same for a V4 thats in the transit, we have the engine in bits all looks good, all in the engine wash and start to put back together next week, with all new belts and gaskets, have a good weekend mate
Very clear explanation of this need-to-know job. Excellent!
Glad it was helpful, RDT.
Good demo. Nice easy steps. Thanks.
You're welcome, Bob.

Just to say, Haynes claim that for the distributor engines, a 0.9 m gap be used.
Great info! Thank you.
