I feel its important to note that crimson blader does not stop gorz....bladers effect states they cannot summon level 5 or highers during their next turn...not during your turn
Every time Gage brings a more powerful version of Dragon Ruler I immediately think "Wow. There is no way Gage can lose this. It's going to be 2-1 Cimo"
There’s still some benefit for losing, Gage gets astral pack 6 and chance to pull fortress and he doesn’t have to worry about a banning unless cimo gets a ban ticket
I really actually appreciate that Cimo bothers changing the token visual / ATK stat. It’s such a small thing but my eyes glaze over whenever I see the generic default sheep token and it’s easy to just not think abt the implications, idk. Seeing the corrected ATK stat and which tokens are which does genuinely feel like a quality of life improvement. Or maybe it just allows me to turn my brain off even more while watching this, idk. Either way I appreciate it
I wouldn't consider volcanic queen and lava golem as kaijus tho. Santa claws' effect is more like a Kaiju effect, as it tributes one opponent monster to special summon on your opponent's field, which is a Kaiju effect, while lava golem and volcanic queen tribute 2 monsters on your opponent's field.
The winner's wheel shouldn't have a ban ticket, that should be reserved for the loser, because this kind of thing happens: gage has, for some reason, a huge advantage with the necroz deck, and he gets to ban an important piece of Alex collection leading to even more advantage. I haven't seen the episode yet, but I hope that if cimo loses he bans shurit to equalize the power level, this is getting ridiculous.
I honestly like the current perspective. Showing both hands would kill the suspense but would be better for like a post watch analysis, while showing neither hand would kill the excitement for seeing crazy top decks like the one in game 3. If anything it would be cool to see this same perspective but from Gage's POV every so often just to spice things up
@@WShoup9818 it's nice he started doing that and I do watch his reactions when they go live on the clips channel, it's absolutely fantastic to hear his side of the game and his thought process. I wish that for many progression series, unfortunately it would make editing way more complicated. Since it's a weekly series, I understand they don't ask too much more of their editors.
@@doubl2480 It wouldn't be complicated at all. All they need to do is have Gage record his side as well and keep flipping it between turns. I really think the banning system is holding this series back and should be changed. I mean it’s already hard enough to build a coherent deck in prog format, and the more we advance, the more archetypes are important. And the fact that they can just kill a deck with a single ban reduces the variety of decks they can play. Cimo played Shaddolls only once and already can’t play it anymore and that’s just sad. And I didn’t finish the video yet but I’m pretty certain that if Gage wins this one he won’t be able to play nekroz anymore either. But these are the decks that we want to see, not chaos, gadgets or batterymen all the time. I’m afraid we are doomed to see the same decks over and over again until the end of the series if they don’t change the system.
Agreed 100%. The thing is there are too many bannings. Maybe change it so that they get to ban a card after 5 losses in a row instead of 3. And also remove the banning ticket from the wheel.
