I've always had the misconception that it would be impossible for me to eat anything in Korea because I'm vegan - but it's so exciting to hear that there are actually so many vegan options! Great videos!
This is really helpful, I've been to the first restaurant myself in 2022 and it was so good! Generally it's a lot easier to find vegan options in the more touristy/ "westernized" areas of Seoul, especially Insadong and Itaewon. (I say westernized because many tourists and foreigners are staying there so those are the areas where you'll find more international cuisine and stuff that caters to foreign taste a bit more.)
I'm planning a trip to Soul, and I just found your channel. What a lifesaver! I'm having so much fun choosing the places that I want to go based on what you think is good, and then booking them in for each of the days that I'm going to be there. I thought I was going to have a bit of trouble finding vegan food, but I'm not worried anymore! Thank you so much. Also, seeing your happy dance every time you eat something delicious is super cute
I’m going to korea this May and I HAVE to go to 오세계향 ! It looks so cozy and has the foods I’ve been dying to try but haven’t been able to find vegan versions of. Thanks for this! Excited for pt 2!
I watched this video three years ago and it stuck with me - now I'm visiting South Korea for the first time in September and I can't wait! Amazing content @LoudNoodle
I really enjoy your vlog, was kinda waiting for you to publish a new one. great work editing (almost feel like I've been there myself watching your footage) + it make me really want to travel Korea, lot's of appreciation from a fellow vegan friend here in Israel. :)
The temple food looks incredible. Looking forward to part 2! 🙌🏼 I recently went to Singapore and dined at a vegetarian/vegan Korean restaurant and had a delicious vegan army stew! I hope to go to Seoul one day to try all these 😍
@@Ching_1005 The one I went to was Daehwa at Fusionpolis! But I think they're in the same group as Boneless Kitchen. Yes sooo goood! They have a vegan spam inside that taste like the real thing :O
@@adhiantos oh yes I've been to there too! If you happen to be in Singapore again in the future I recommend u to go to Boneless kitchen at Taiseng! It's slightly cheaper than Daehwa! But there's some slight differences in menu between these two!
Glen Hey Doomfist! Also, enjoy Japan! Could you reply to let me know how it was? ^^ I am very curious how a random person’s experience is. I honestly want to travel the world especially Asia and South America and am always feeling worried that I won’t find any decent vegan food from their cultures.
Thank you for these great recommendations! I'll be visiting Seoul in March so this is perfect. May I know which map app do you use in Seoul? I heard Google Maps can't be used there.
elletea pj I used Kakao Map and it was awesome because you can make and colour code your own folders of locations! Also download google translate - the scanning function is VERY helpful in Korea. I found I copy and pasted a lot between google translate and kakao maps

Yes you can! I know they have it for sure at Osegyegyang but I never ordered it. It's also technically a chinese dish so you'll find it at chinese-koeran restaurants. I think there are a few which Chinese-korean restaurants that are vegan in Seoul but we didn't make it there!
Does anyone have recommendations of restaurants with vegan and non-vegan food? I am travelling with a non-vegan and I dont' want her to be limited because of me :(

All looks so good. Should I move to Korea? If you had one meal, maybe Sanchan could be good to try a little of everything. Pine tea, have to try.
