"🎶He knows a lot about the science stuff professor Dave EXPLAINS🎶" best song ever...best TH-cam channel ever .. professor Dave, the best TH-cam teacher ever ♥️♥️♥️♥️
I can't tell you how much I love random stuff on YT!!! One of the most basic things that my professional training taught me was that E.coli is an IELF, which is IND+ & CIT- (I know what this means, 'cos, you know, it was my job for over 40 years, but I have never thought to do a YT search for it.) ... Then, completely out-of-the-blue, I get a channel notification concerning indole synthesis... ... Thank you Prof, you just took me back to my youth.
I definitely remember this synthesis, I think from 3rd year organic chemistry. I don't think we went so in depth on the mechanism for losing the nitrogen though. Very cool
Very enlightening, as always, Professor Dave. I've read that indoles are, among other things, produced by the human gut and may have effects on regulating human emotions when reacting with tryptophan. I guess what I'm wondering is that since Fischer Indole Synthesis is an important thing, what are some practical uses for indoles?
Hey Dave, I need a little help convincing my sister that the moon landing is real. I’ve tried for a bit now with no avail, but then again I’m not nearly as knowledgeable as you😂
That intro is glorious... Never change it!

I took a break from chemistry to study mathematics, but I just came by to say that I love you knowledge-bro

I don't get why people dislike a science tutorial? Good video as always Prof. Dave.
I wish i could put together 2 percent of an essay like Dave does, seemingly rather effortlessly.
A great public treasure
Thank you, today I have an heterocyclic chemistry test and this video will help me
I’m here because pbs space time said ur a good bloke. Wow I got some catching up to do, good stuff Dave!
