We tried the scampi Friday night, served with brown rice and broccoli - everything from TJs. It was very good - we were impressed. Scampi is not hard to make but sometimes it's nice to just toss something in a pan and have dinner in 10 mins.
I now need to go to Trader Joe's to get Shrimp Scampi for my husband! That will be what I will be doing on Cinco de Mayo. So much fun watching you taste test. I am not a drinker but I love you two doing those taste tests. Gives me ideas for gifts that I can give to my sons! Have a great Cinco.
The shrimp scampi looked nice, I usually have it with pasta but maybe over rice would be good too. The fork it comment hilarious 😂. The taco cheese have to try that, it didn't look spicy but curious if was? Very happy more vegetarian dishes. I kind of like mixing things up during the week.
Your videos are definitely part of my Saturday routine. Everything looks just great. Do you think if I bought extra of the taco cheese I could freeze it? Happy Cinco de Mayo 🌮
You should try the Argentinian raw, caught large shrimp, which have been cleaned and frozen in a very generous package so you can make your your own scampi much better just with garlic, a little wine and the shrimp which are already clean so you don’t have to do anything it takes a few minutes only.
I just put the rice bulgogi on my TJ list. Thank you for testing it. I keep the organic frozen brown rice as a staple in the freezer and hopefully this will be too!
I get the impression that Tim is a Committed Carnivore and he only eats the plant based vegan foods just to be nice, gentlemanly and help out with the Taste Tests. Glad to hear that Tim really liked the plant based Bulgogi Korean rice veggie balls. I just wish it was BROWN RICE and not white rice, but it is what it is. BTW, Katie mentioned she is trying to eat healthier recently and it is a good idea NOT TO MICROWAVE food in plastic because microplastic particles morph into the food and that causes cancer and other degenerative diseases - recently there was a big press release about Forever Chemicals and Microplastics in our food, bottled water, etc. I have been trying to elminate buying so much food that is wrapped in plastic ESPECIALLY if it has an acidic ingredient such as tomato, citrus, vinegar because that makes microplastic particles. Microplastics and Forever Chemicals in food are particularly harmful to children because their immune systems are more delicate and their body weight is lower so that pollution gunk in food like Microplastics and Forever Chemicals accumulates at a much higher level than compared to adults. Cute video!
Yay! I am going to keep a lookout for those rice balls. I'd probably eat it with the crispy seaweed that TJ's also sells. Congrats to Tim for his new job, keep up the great work!
I am so confused Doctors on the internet (carnivore drs) say that rice is so bad for you because it has arsnic in it. Yet you say you eat a lot of it. Do you have any problems eating it?
No, I don’t have any issues. I rinse it well. If it was a huge issue I feel like Asian countries would have a lot of issues yet they live much longer than Americans. 🤔
Congratulations to Tim on his new job. I'm glad your feeling better Katie.
The both of you are one of the few reasons I use TH-cam still and enjoy ❤
Forgot to say last week - Congratulations on your new job! So happy for you guys.
Katie you look great. So glad you are better. Congrats Tim on your new job!

Tim talked me into that shrimp as he’s making me hungry. Over pasta would be divine
Congratulations tim🎉🥳

We don't have a trader joes anywhere near where I live but I wish we would get one ❣️
The taco gouda cheese sounds like it'd be good grated and melted over tortilla chips.
It sounds really good but the price is way too much for me.
Yay!!! Love your channel and especially love that you have so many vegetarian options. Watching now 💜
love your videos you 2 are my favorites I just wish my TJ had alcohol
Love the TJ’s cruelty-free beefless bulgogi. 😋 Can’t wait to try those. 🥳

You can wrap jumeokbop with roasted seaweed 😊!

Yes cheese freezes very well! In fact I’ve seen people shred it and then freeze it so you can grab as little or as much as you want.
@@KatieHespe Perfect. Thank you

Yep, Tim does that too it’s that exact shrimp all the time. Welcome to our channel! Happy to have you!
I wish you would do cooking shows on here Katie! I tried looking for the video on IG but couldn’t find it :(
I have them all saved in a highlight titled “recipes”.
I just put the rice bulgogi on my TJ list. Thank you for testing it. I keep the organic frozen brown rice as a staple in the freezer and hopefully this will be too!

Cute video!
If you like taco Mac and cheese, that cheese would be absolutely perfect
Ugh-I wish our TJs sold alcohol... 😩

Congrats to Tim for his new job, keep up the great work!
Do you think the meatless bulgogi would pare well with fish or salmon as a side dish?
Congrats 👏 on the new job 🎉
It’s pronounced like “Ju-muk-bap.”
closest way I can transliterate from the korean. 😊
No more question of the week? I don't remember you doing one last week either.
Just changing it up a bit. We can bring it back.
Love the spring in Tim’s step! Katie I posted the soup recipe on your TJ haul video under my other comment. Let me know if you find it and try it!
Thank you! I will look for it
Great haul
Great video as always. ❤
Katie did you forget the question
Thank you for taste testing vegan products!
When you fork it. Why did that make me giggle🤭
Mmm the taco cheese🌮🧀
Aww no question of the week???!!!
I can’t wait to try the taco cheese
Had the garlic shrimp at Costco it was AWFUL!
Bet the bulgogi would be over top with Bachans Japanese BBQ sauce😋can't wait to buy❤
Yumyum
Great video!
Aldi has organic blackberries 😁
Sadly, I don't have Instagram. Happy Kentucky Derby day!
How much was the Taco Gouda?
$12.49 a lb. Most of the wedges of cheese at my Trader Joe’s were around $5-$6 a wedge.
Yippee, 1st( can't wait)❤
I am so confused

I would also like to say Asian countries eat rice ,often more than once a day, also lots of rice eaten in South America.
For your homemade margarita can you give the ratio of tequila, limeade, and sparkling water + squeeze of lime?
🌸👍🏻🌸
I trust Tim and Katie...
Great video, especially the Shrimp Scampi & Taco cheese. Can we get an update on Tim's job hunting status? Hope all is well !
Yes we announced on last weeks taste test that he got a job.
Commercials???
