State of the Nation Address 2014

President Jacob Zuma will deliver his State of the Nation Address to Parliament on Thursday, 13 February 2014. The SABC television broadcast of the proceedings includes footage provided by Parliament.

what a spectacle! Have you ever... Whats the use of parading MP`s and Premiers when they are so far removed from their Electorates? I would rather be approachable in my Electorate, in an office where I can speak to the people then be paraded on a Red Carpet. How about going into your area and seeing the needs get met...How much Tax Payer money was wasted in getting this crap together, Millions instead of having it pumped into the damn economy and or all the potholes around the country!!!

The idea of job creation is repetitive in almost all presidential debates and state of the nation addresses; The truth is automation technology will exponentially replace humans in the labour sector because of production efficiency and cost efficiency. Given the nature of capitalism, it is not rocket science to figure out were we are headed. A change in economic system is inevitable, we either learn to adapt now or wait until the majority of the country is living in abject poverty....
Ps can we please get an educated president.
