Simple Spicy Pepper Prawns | Su's Cookbook

- SPICY PEPPER PRAWNS by Su’s Cookbook ❤️
RECIPE:
Ingredients:
10-12 cleaned prawns
2 ripened tomatoes, chopped
1 red onion, chopped
2 green chillies, chopped
3 red cili padi, whole
2-3 sprigs of curry leaves
1 tsp mustard seeds
1 tsp fennel seeds
½ lime, juice
Coarsely & finely grounded black pepper
1 tsp ginger-garlic paste
Any seasoning powder (optional)
1 tsp brown sugar
Salt to taste
Little water
1 tbsp ghee
Oil for cooking
1 tsp turmeric powder
1 tbsp tandoori powder (available from Indian grocery stores )
2 tbsp plain chilli powder
Fresh coriander & pudina leaves
Steps:
Heat up some oil over medium-low flame. Add in the mustard & fennel seeds. Then, add in the onions. Stir fry.
Now, add in the tomatoes. Cook until it softens. Then, add in the chillies, curry leaves & a little salt. Saute.
Now, add the ginger- garlic paste, all three spice powder, a little water, seasoning powder, brown sugar & cook for 2-3 minutes, until the oil begins to separate.
You may add in the prawns, ghee and desired amount of black pepper powder. Mix well and once the prawns are cooked, turn off the flame. Garnish with fresh coriander and mint leaves 😋😋😋
