Thanks Zane. I've played for a LONG time and never encountered such well thought out practice techniques for chickin pickin. Hopefully I can improve that part of my bag using these tips. It would be cool to see you lightning runs at the end of the vid done more slowly! ( I will try watching with You Tube's slow-down feature).
    Thanks for sharing .

    Matching Chicken yellow tele,
    Matching Chicken Yellow room.
The Chicken is strong in this one.
With the playing, the Chickenclorians are off the scale.

This is amazing. It's actually really hard to find good info on Chicken Picking that's not way too advanced right out of the gate.

Thanks for this. The analytical approach that you bring from your classical training is very interesting. I'm not a great chicken picker, yet. What I find most helpful is to watch chickens and the way that the way that they move their heads when they walk. And listen to the sounds that they make. You know when you are getting good, if you can get the chickens to pay attention to what you are playing. This is why it is easier to learn cou try music if you live in the country. Happy holidaze. I look forward to more of your great content in 2021!

The only guy I have seen, other than myself, who uses a CT55 Blue Chip pick! Hides well in your hand when not in use, and is so pricey you'll be certain not to lose it. :)

Zane! I've been baffled by that lick of Danny's on the Humbler for SOO long. Gives me chills everytime I hear it. I'm glad you demonstrated it! Love your videos and that Barden laced tele!

Thanks Eric, it's a killer lick and once you've got the forward roll and position shifts, it's actually quite straightforward.

You're way beyond my ability, but we both come from similar backgrounds. Nice to see the classical approach being used to break things down into bite size pieces. I've been wanting to improve my right hand techniqe on electric for a while, now I feel like I've got some ideas!

You can use the playback setting to slow it down to clarify something.
