Cuz they are not wrong, the T1 org itself is in godhood in its League team. Deft's win was nice and deserved but we all know that it's just a fluke.
And idk about you, this is an international tournament where the best gets praised/shown the most. If you like to see teams other than T1, there's LCS, LEC, LPL, and the minor regions.

I have a feeling that he’ll be the one casting Worlds Finals next year since it’s in Europe. As much as I also love Medic and I would not have any problem with both, Drakos just deserves it imo.
I still have gripes over his partiality in international matches that involve LEC teams, but he definitely raised his quality this year

As much as the Worlds 2023 finals was phenomenal, we all know that the true Worlds Finals was the JDG vs T1 Semifinals. Admit it, we all cried tears of joy on that series. ❤
This. The T1 vs JDG series was SOOOOO fucking good. The WBG series was good, but it felt very much like a victory lap for T1 and it looked that way too. The way that T1 made clutch play after clutch play in the JDG series was just top level gameplay and cemented it as one of my favorite series of all time.

That series was something else, the history, the build up, the teasers, the legends never die theme, the plays, oner’s psychotic engage, fakers’s shuffle revenge, guma’s 1v2, the casters screaming, fans shouting, caster jun and fans crying. Man, I could go on and on about that series. Just thinking about it makes me goosebumps. It’s living in my head rent free, and I love it.

I think theshy is overhated for his performance in the finals. I don’t think it’s his fault he gets into a terrible matchup in the first 2 games. He didn’t play particularly well, but there’s not much you can do against a pick that lanes better and scales bettee besides calling for jungle’s help

For next worlds, T1 needs something explosive. Like no disrespect to Adele or Coldplay, they're great but I just can't see it. Personally I think bands like Bring me the horizon would be great and if this were a few years back Linkin Park would've been so hype. Wildcard would be 21 savage
In the end though it can be any artist as long as they don't fall behind the songs like "Rise" or "Gods". I wish it'd surpass "Legends Never Die" just because it's Faker but that's a tall order

Well speaking simply in terms of back & forth and nerve-wracking, I´d have to agree. Gameplay wise T1 vs JDG was the best series but in regards to what you mentioned, BLG vs GENG probably takes the cake.

KT defeating WBG is proof that if the matchup draw guy chose different teams for KT, they would've gone far. Unlike KT back then that was choking a lot and was very on and off, the KT this year had a semblance of stability compared to other iterations. They had just an unfortunate run due to the draws at Worlds and of course, choosing T1 in summer. It's sad that the team disbanded already, if T1 wasn't the best, I'm sure KT would be contenders at least at top 4.

I love LCK english casters but they're accustomed to toned down casting because they cast the LCK. I would prefer hype casters like Medic and Captain Flowers or at least one of them in the finals because they add another layer of hype to the already hype storylines and players.
