Its my fist kyosho & i am really surprised how well it performs. my only disappointment is the slop in the front wheels. i tried to shim the front wheels behind the hexes, it fixed the slop but became way to tight, the wheels had too much resistance.... not too sure how else to address the slop issue. please let me know if you have any luck. love ya vids, keep it up mate.
You can put a piece of paper between the gears, press them together and tighten the screw down. I do my mesh by feel. After changing gears for so many years you will start to mesh the gears by feel.
I shimmed the slop from my GT2 VE Demon with some plastic shims I made. The car ran terrible 😞😆. I’m going to do it again with real shims and let you know.
Hi..I would like to know how to set the brakes to hard brakes (lock the wheels immidiatly) after the brakes are applied..the current factory settings for the brakes locks the wheels couple of seconds after brakes are applied..pls advise..thnks
Watch UD RC video where he recalibrates the esc. He stops at 7 beeps. Stop your s at 8 beeps and you are in the break adjust section of the esc. Have your manual handy and read the instructions. It's what I did, you should be set.

Pardon my ignorance, but I'm curious about how to remove the wheel slop. I have a super old Inferno GT2 and would like to revive it.

I used discarded filler gage blades. Cut to size and drilled to fit behind the second hex bolt. Sweet. "Now go tell that".
is this a brushlesss conversion? i have the gt1 and want to convert. but i have no idea what to do about the dual gear transmission delete....
