Thank you for posting this! I make baked goods with superfine sugar, but also have trouble finding it in stores where I live so I put granulated in the food processor and pulse 15-20 times (use a towel over the top if you do this, or you'll be sorry), and it comes out just the right size.
Congratulation aus dem" Land der Feuerzangenbowle"!!!!!Was für eine super Idee.Ich wußte nicht,für was man die Pils-Biergläser" alles benutzen kann.PROST!!!Richard xoxoxoxox
I lost an hour of my life trying to duplicate this technique. Is it important that the sugar is filled close to the top before you turn it over to release from the glass? Everytime I went to release the cone - it would release into two parts - despite me roughing up between the layers.
You might have to be more aggressive on the "rough up". Also, as I mention in the video description, for best results use "superfine" sugar. Domino's superfine sugar works great. In the video, I used Domino's regular sugar, which also works fine. But recently I found that our local store brand of sugar did not work, because the grains were too large. I was able to get it to work by adding 3T of powdered sugar to the store brand sugar, which acted to help glue the larger grains together.
dude!!!! you saved christmas.
.....an a year later you saved christmas again. Thanks.
Did he save this christmas again?
@@stefanlindblad2239 He sure did in 2020
Actually in the Land there the Feuerzangenbowle comes from it is a new years eve tradition... Not Christmas...

A day bevor New Year's Eve and all the Sugar Cones were sold out. 😅
What the hell did you call the thing you were going to use this for?
Feuerzangenbowle^^
AndDiracisHisProphet It sounded nothing like 'Feuerzangenbowle'.
Dude, you have the best account photo 🖒
@@salvatoreshiggerino6810 I fact for a non german speaker his pronounciation of Feuerzangenbowle is pretty good.
