Looks like you were hustling to get those logs out before the planter got to this side of the field! That Skidder sure made it possible! Nice work Greg👍🏻👍🏻
Wow, spring came early where you live 🤔 still winter here in southwest Michigan. Glad your posting again. I've watched your shop tour video several times. Have a Jesus filled day everyone Greg in Michigan
If you’ve got an old Timberjack hold onto it, dear tremendous machines John Deere bought them out in the mid 90s 2000 and I think they made China now I may be wrong but the old hold onto them. They’re good machines and you can always rebuild them. Great video.
Morning , I was worried about u and was go to drive to see if u we're still alive Gregery 🤪 I can't believe how nice the weather is in your area 😝 a whole different world .
Alot of big ash sawlogs u pulled out. Those were some tall trees. Looks like alot more dead ash still standing yet too. My brother just bought a forwarder yesterday for logging jobs. Iron mule. We have 5 or 6 properties to log.one job is 40 walnut trees that he's buying for sawmilling. Other job is a bunch of 3ft white pines. Did a red pine thinning already. Have blow downs and oak wilt to cut on our farm and dead ash. Have thousands of dead ash trees on our neighbors to cut also. 20 yrs from now might not have any good ash logs left to sawmill . Stump sprouts probably will just get reinfested with EAB when they get about 4-6" in diameter unless a resistant variety evolves

Once you use the F word enough times. You realize why the 200 series are hard to find. Other than the GM engine. Nice work Gregg.

I love that machine. When I grow up, I'll graduate to a skidder vs my tractor & skidding winch. Nice editing!
Definitely a time saver with the skidder
Nice seeing that skidder in action!
The skidded is perfect for you.
Good work catching 😀
Looking great
If you run your reverser in reverse when u pull you main line out of skidder it will make it easier to pull
Hey Charles. I appreciate you watching... I’m a little confused on what you mean “run my reverser in reverse”? What reverser?
Should be running bigger chokers on a machine like that
I ended up getting heavy duty choker chains..
Did that for a year and realized how much time. Energy And headache cable skidders are
