Mezzo-soprano and vocal coach, Dr. Marisan, has several degrees in music, vocal performance, vocal pedagogy, and music business from the New England Conservatory of Music, Hugh Hodgson School of Music, and Berklee College of Music. She has performed in Europe, Asia, North and South America, and the Caribbean in more than 13 languages. Dr. Marisan loves all genres of music and wishes to unite people through song!

Dimash has music for every occasion. For me, this is Dimash's greatest charm that he performs such different songs. I know all his songs and I know he always brings something new. This is very attractive and proves that Dimash has the courage to experiment.

Dimash actually asked the lyricist (a female singer/songwriter from LA) to make him a "bad boy" in the song. Dimash as an artist seems to just create wherever his mind goes which to me is very refreshing.

I think you would really enjoy Dimash’s new song When I’ve Got You
With Dimash there is no "usual". He explores many genres. He has a number of other songs that lean into the pop style. This is not his first time doing that. I take it you've never heard his rap verses, which he has done in a couple of songs.
A recent release for which Dimash composed the music, When I've Got You, is a fusion of blues, R&B and rock. I Would be very interested in a reaction video to this MV.

👉Wow, this is Popera at its finest!!! How can you not fall in love with Dimash when he, as a “bad boy”, without socks of course, in (devilish) red and with sensual movements, makes the girls dance for him like on strings... and that voice! It gets into you and you become addicted and just want more Dimash.

His music video is out now!!! This is just a music performance, when you watch his official MV the words will make a lot more sense. But you do have to actually Watch it properly or you will miss the whole point, which is what another reactor did and went away believing that Dimash was one of the really bad group. All that reactor had to do was watch the video and take special notice of the last few seconds. I am Really looking forward to seeing your reaction to the official Music Video of this interesting and different song from Dimash.

Thank you for your reaction/analysis! I'm pretty sure that all the background vocal harmonies are Dimash as well, every voice I hear in there sounds like him. Here's another song & OMV where he is basically playing the same *bad boy" persona, pretty much the opposite of his real humble character. I know in the past he has expressed some frustration with fans idealizing him too much, I think maybe playing the bad boy once in awhile is a little release for him lol.

The usual songs people first hear are not representative of his full style.
You know little about the versality and variety of Dimash
One style? He inserted his operatic vocals (headvoice) in this pop song so it's a pop/opera style. 😅And his original music is highly mixed styles with a dombra included but fits perfectly. Dimash is also singing the harmonies and background vocals at the end.
I understand what you say, but she does explain why even when he sings in his soprano voice it is not in the operatic style. Dimash adds straight tone to the line, and in the bel canto style (opera) the line has constant vibrato. ❤ BTW, I love what he does!
Maybe Zaylen but this is the furthest he has gone in this direction. Think he is really trying to entice the West.
Thank you for a great reaction! Dimash’s versatility is one of his main attractions. The girls definitely represented flames here, and I loved the choreography! Dimash did a great job of juxtaposing instruments and his vocals. The soprano part reminds me of a fire truck’s siren. The end harmonies are actually his voice as well. I am waiting on the official MV to form a final opinion about the song’s content, but I don’t think it’s about being a bad boy. Right now, I see this song as his stance of an independent artist against the show biz industry. A similar thought/concept is repeated in his “Zhalyn”, “Fly Away”, and several others. Please react to his latest bluesy creation “When I’ve Got You”.
Dimash plays a bit of a bad boy in the mv of Be With Me and he is a vampire in the mv of When I’ve Got You, And in his pop song Weekend, he talks about trashing a room and messing around. But it’s all only in fun. Dimash just isn’t a bad boy, He’s adorable.
When I've got you is also a very different song for Dimash. Hes a vampire in that video. These songs are almost definitely on a full English album hes been working on for a while.

I wouldn’t t say this stays in one genre at all. He has pop and opera, combined. I love this one. Well, I like virtually everything he sings. I’m in Turkey right now to attend his birthday concert on Saturday.

Dimash usually mixes styles. He likes to break all the rules and cross the lines.
His music video "Be With Me" has some of the "bad boy" vibes you hear in this one. It is mostly in English, but the part in the middle is in Kazakh--and the translated lyrics of that part express some of this one's message. It's a fun video because again, Dimash shows another aspect of his amazing versatility. Dimash acts in the video too--Dimash a la James Bond.
"When I have you" is another mini-movie video. Dimash the vampire--seductive. And who knew we needed Dimash with long hair?

The instrument that sounds like an acoustic guitar or acoustic guitar is actually a traditional Kazakh instrument called a "dombra". We can see him using this instrument in the songs "Dudarai" and "Adai+Daididau" as part of the Durdaraz arrangement!

Hi! I think you would really enjoy Home Free's rendition of How Great Thou Art. The video was filmed in the Austrian Alps and is very beautiful. Home Free is an acapella group.
If you listen closely he's actually saying the word smoke in his high range. The whole vocal run if you will is on the word smoke.
