Love that you’re back to running, I can’t wait to get there a bit of running here and there but not very much for me yet. My mum lives in Burleigh so I have run those paths trails sand lots of times. Hopefully when I get back up to see mum hopefully will bump into you to say hi 😊

Hey Dom, So good to see you running again. I'm hoping to do a 10km PB in Robina as well as a marathon PB for the GCM25. I then just want to finish Sydney Marathon and enjoy the experience. I also want to cheer you on in your half marathon this year too.
VO2 max drops quickly and is slow to get back up. As a small 53yr old woman - I struggle to get my vo2 max from 37 to 40. I would love 60!!!! I do strength training so I CAN run injury free - but I would love to know how I can improve my vo2 max. I am only aiming for the 10km race distance.
V02 max is tough to build and you can’t quite predict it! the building (slowly) part is key - longer long runs and more time on feet (or cross-training) 😊
Damn, it must be so nice to have a beach nearby to go for a run, and don't get me started on the mangroves 😮💨. Now I want to visit Australia even more. Anyway, my goal for 2025 is a sub 3h30 Marathon. My Vo2 max hasn't changed in months, tho 😂 even with my marathon training plan now in full force.
