So...took a pottery wheel classes in Feb/March...fell in love...bought all I needed used and created a studio...been playing. Watched this video last night, dreamt about making spoon rests all night, and then made 12 today! Thanks for the great instruction and inspiration. You are my guru.

Can’t wait to see the collab. Y’all are my favorite pottery youtubers. Met Matthew Kelly while I was in seagrove a few months ago. Super jealous that I can’t be there to see both of y’all in action together but also stoked to see everything to come out of it

Thanks-new to Pottery and I’m going to try this next week. What kind of bat is that? It’s different than any I’ve seen?

I find a wooden rib helps in pulling the wall. I also trim the bottom edge before I put the 'spout in'.

    Love your work!
Those spoon rests are gorgeous! I still use my grandma’s which is over 50 years old but not as beautiful as the ones you make!

I’ve watched nearly all your videos. My fav is the hand warming mug even though you don’t like making them lol I was gonna see if you sold them and shipped to the UK

Bold of you to assume I own a dishwasher, but I could definitely use a spoon rest. I have a goal for my studio time tomorrow.

So this is one of those items that I did not even know existed as a product (I kinda just use a saucer for the same purpose), but now I need one desperately.

Have you thought about using a metal stamp to « sign » your pieces on the bottom side? It’s a really nice addition imo :)

Jon you've inspired me again, this is the perfect item for me to add to the wooden utensils my husband and I make, thanks. I have a quick question what do you use to make the small square bats you use?
