The straightener that she's using in the video is covering the plates very well. I've got the same one and its basically impossible to burn your hands/fingers

I burned mh thumb when I tried to curl styling it 😱😱😱 but the recommended it safer to use than the curly one (th tube curly)
Doesn't matter how many of these I watch or how much I try, I can never get these wavy curls to happen.. :(

My ghd gold get very hot on the outside so difficult to hold.
