Hey! I’ve watched your video a couple time and it’s well put together. The only question I have is.. I got this for my 2003 Chevy Silverado, if I put that foam seal on, it doesn’t sit against the truck very tightly and the screws barely reach. Do I need that foam pad?
That foam pad I believe is what keeps it water tight. You definitely don't want water getting in there it will cause rust issues in the future. Was there something else that kept it from sitting flush.
@@DrivewayDreams There wasn't. The 3rd brake light that came with the truck had a pretty non existent foam pad on it. When I put the foam pad that came with the Auxito 3rd brake light, it sticks out so far to the point the screws wont even screw in, and the fitment is really off. I've tried contacting Auxito about it but they just keep giving me an automated response, and when I try their phone number, it says its not in use.
