I always get a kick out of canoe’s performance comparison. With 50% US exposure and leverage, we’re beating the non-leveraged Canadian market😂😂
not hard to beat the Canadian market
Thanks a lot! Love the updates!
Awesome bro, thanks for the update 👍
Thank you for keeping us up-to-date on changes to the distribution amounts. It's very helpful
Great video ! Thanks!
Always nice to go through these top high yield ETFs and see the funds I own are on the list. Thanks Adrian!
Such an awesome trip you did & happy birthday Adriano!
Looking forward to your video about EIT.UN you mentioned was coming up
Great insight, thank you.
Good video Adriano!
Thanks dude. Happy birthday!🎉 You rock and/or roll.
Great Video - I am a little confused that Evolve's QQQY and QQCL were not covered. They are CDN listed. Are they suitable for TFSA's ???
QQCL was covered. QQQY is a sector specific fund so it was not, unless there is news on it. if i covered sector specific funds the video would be 2 hours
Always enjoy the updates. Keeping us in the loop. Jealous of your trip to NY. lol. Maybe next time I’ll be there
i hope so!
Would love to hear your thoughts on QQQI NEOS Nasdaq-100 High Income ETF when you next post a video highlighting high yield US listed funds.
Nice video and belated borthday wishes! I am new to income investing and it seems that the Harvest ETFs etc give interest income and dividends T5 which is tax efficient. Any suggestions for a non-reg account? I thought that the interest income would offset some of the gains. at least for dividends we can take advantage of the Dividend tax credit. thanks!
Hi Adriano, Did you get your withholding tax refunded yet?
yup
Off button
HLFE got wound up, how often does that sort of thing happen?
not often, typically if the AUM cannot get over 10 million within a year or 2 they will close it. it does not mean investors lost money. they get the nav reimbursed when the ETF closes
I may be wrong, but Harvest seems to stick to their strategy for all ETF,s. Global X and Hamilton are more appealing to me - better sector selection and better call writing strategies which verry with the sectors specifics.
I am now up 36% on my YTSL right now with it being that high is it worth reinvesting the dividend into it and driving up my average ?
My BTCY is up 112% and the ETHY is up 55% so I am unsure where to put my monthly dividends now lol because they would all drive up my averages
The last few months I have just been using my dividend from those 3 to just buy more YTSL because it was still low but now its rallying high again
I am also thinking about dumping TSLY if it goes to $30 to just take the profits and then wait to see if it fall back down again before deciding to buy back in
I do like the 30c per share but at $30 that is back to its highest and would be almost a 100% increase on that stock
Yes I am smiling thinking about how this is actually a problem haha
What do you all think ?
i think that you think too much lol
Please cover QQQY from Evolve
Evolve QQQY outperforming global x QQCL and nasdaq 100 index YTD, its underlying is the best of the best of nasdaq, it also raised its div to 0.32 higher than QQCL, 50% CC no lev
Quick question : who keeps buying the covered call options and can these etf’s outgrow the option market? Trying to wrap my head around this. Yield Max will be a monster in a few years….
quick answer: dont worry about it
@@PassiveIncomeInvesting that is a very poor answer bi guess I’ll look elsewhere.
*I
At least, rs and sbc are starting to move up!!!!😁
lol i hope RS stays down longer so i can buy more cheap ass shares
@@PassiveIncomeInvesting My objective is to get out of it as soon as I recover my lost! REIT are included in other ETF anyway....😁
HTAE is the only Canadian fund that is worth putting money into.
A day in the life of a high yield income investor looks promising. YTSL engine revving while DFN barely running, guess what an opportunistic investor does?
GET MAD and SELL DFN? haha JK
@@PassiveIncomeInvesting or do this... we'll let you know next week
HTA/HTAE is such a good fund. Regret not purchasing this one last year.
Adrian, does Canoe eit stop paying if the NAV goes below a certain amount? Like DFN or any of the other split funds?
Or is this a "split fund" which is like a ETF.
Eit.Un is an income trust, it is not a split share
@@michaelferriss4594 my main question is if it can stop paying distributions JUST B3CAUSE NAV dropped below a certain level.
History says it’s never missed a payment including COVID and 2008 bank crash
@@rickbold9337 not talking about history. Just policy. Their payout rules.
no, it does not have that rule like most Split Funds do
Thank you sir. does $SPLT more suit for non-registered investment account or a FHSA in Wealthsimple?
only you can answer that question because only you know and understand your needs and objectives.
