This is a very nice build. Your entire place looks very nice. Like something in a home decor magazine or web product picture. Really nice build. Keep grinding.
Sensational idea and execution. I love the two tone and the floating monitor feel. Awesome. Didn't like the bowing though. Hopefully you'll fix that. I could see maybe a 3d printed mechanism that pushes and pulls the end monitors when you lift and lower it. 🤔
I think what’s more impressive than the result is the fact that you made this with only basic tools. No fancy workshop or expensive gear to be seen anywhere. Nicely done!
amazing. you could even add two motors to move the monitor arms automatically in case you forget to move the monitors back to its position before it descent
Really love the design and details also the video . Terrific job. Not quite sure about the pocket screw joints in furniture board though, but a lot easier than cam-locks, how they holding up? If they are still good I might try them myself in future.
Thank you. If you use a few more pocket screw joints than usual it will be fine, especially when you combine it with some other methods. It's been a year since the build and still holding up as new, everything works and looks fine.
I really hope this channel grows fast so that you're encouraged to create more and more videos. This was an awesome build. WELL DONE. Do you mind me asking what stroke size was that actuator and how strong is it? Thanks
Note to people, be careful in regard to the 3 major issues for electronics: Heat, Vibrations, and Dust. The more "powerful" (more power draw, more thermal potential) the more air flow it needs. keep this in mind when building your own.
Hi, awesome build, I was wondering how do you control the limits for the linear actuator? does it automatically stops when it is fully extended / contracted or do you have to add some electric cutoff?, thanks
Correct, the linear actuator automatically shuts off at the limit when it's fully extended or contracted. In between you can stop/regulate it with the remote control.
This such a great and cool build. Pardon for the ignorant question but, what do you exactly call the poles that held the cover? I'm looking for it online but I seriously don't know what it is called. Thank you!
Would like to see a link to the products if you have them. Except the lift. I have a different olan for the lift. Thanks for sharing the video. Oh turn down the volume on the ipening saw scene. I had ear buds in and now cant hear a thing.
Looks good, and attractive, But not much useful for those trying to follow the same idea, because everything covered in more closeup view and no explanation audio,
what I like about this is that you actually did this DIY. not the bs DIY where they whip out a project in there $20,000 home wood shop haha

@@diyinjames Hello, I would like to know the measure for the furniture and the height to make your own projects that I admire a lot
@@diyinjames How many boards do I need to have for the project?
Length 220 cm / 86.6 inch
Width 80 cm / 31.5 inch
Height 110 cm / 43.3 inch
@@diyinjames Thanks again for the measure, I'm trained to carry out your project for my mother at the end I'll tell her it's serious to you
Great video, gives me so many ideas for an upcoming desk build.
Awesome!!!😮 great job!!!
Holy crap this is good!
Great work!
Barulhento, lento mas diferente. Valeu pela ideia e trabalho. Parabéns.
amazing. you could even add two motors to move the monitor arms automatically in case you forget to move the monitors back to its position before it descent
Would be a nice option for sure.
I'm so jealous! Fantastic build.
As a stock trader I see a tripple monitor lift in my future soon.
u Genius xD Very good table !!!
Impresionante!!!!

It's nice and great idea
Please do more videos
very awesome! I wish someone could help me build such a thing

Cool meubel, ook gewoon lekker simpel met basic tools. 👍
Amazing

Appreciate the support! The stroke size is 400 mm / 15.75 inch, actuator torque about 70 kg / 150 lbs.
@@diyinjames thank you, it's really a lovely job.

Any diagrams or files for this project? Great job. Very creative and professional.
greatttt
good proyect bro
Nice. Would also be great if there was an app on your phone to act as a remote. Just incase you lost the remote somehow. Nice to have a backup. 😉👍
nice cool
Beautiful build and looks amazing!! 👍 Just wondering if you are going to do any diagrams or lists so that people can replicate it?
Thank you, I will take it into consideration for the future.

brutaallll loko
Great project! Thanks for sharing! What is the hydraulic arm thing called and where can you find them? Thanks!
Linear actuator, take a look online.

Thank you. These are furniture legs.
@@diyinjames Thank you so much for replying!
Do you have plans on how you did it?😊
Hello! Can you make bespoke stands to order?
Sorry if I'm missing this, but where did you get the chairs? Love them too.
Unfortunately, unknown to me. Gifted years ago.
If this was made out of something other than fiber board... it would be so much more durable over time. Great build though!
True. And so much more expensive. :P
What are your actuator specs?
what is the black stuff called put at the edge of the wood at 1:18
Would like to see a link to the products if you have them. Except the lift. I have a different olan for the lift. Thanks for sharing the video.
Oh turn down the volume on the ipening saw scene. I had ear buds in and now cant hear a thing.
Where can I get the drawings for this project?
Would it also work only with rails without the wheels?
No, the castor wheels prevent horizontal movement and friction between the lifting shelf and the housing
Hi im building a desk in the short future could you please send me some plans?
Do you have files or diagrams for the project? Love to recreate for my home office.
🇹🇷👍
What's the black material you used which was ironed on? Much appreciated
Wood veneer tape - edge banding
Hi, can you say me whats name by type of motor you use in this project?
Linear Actuators
Does these kind of chairs have a specific name? Stumbled across this chair type numerous times and can not found how to specify them. Halp
What was the size of the lift u used?? And did u only need to use one?
Only one is used as shown in the video, actuator specs displayed at 9:22 - bottom left.
Can you set the limit of the linear actuator? did you have to set it?
The limit is preset and shuts off automatically on full extension and full contraction.
Why dont you sell the specs?
What is actuator speed ?
20 mm per second
ı need the motor can you say me the name
Linear Actuator
What is the size of the acutior
9:21 bottom left corner - 400 [mm] stroke
This same furniture I want ... Can you make it for me I will pay you
I can't DIY, I just wish someone actually sell this
Hi the lifter type? Link? Plzzzz thx
Linear Actuator, stroke 400 (mm), torque 700 (N).
God I hate European plugs. They are so damn big.
Looks good, and attractive, But not much useful
