      They never explained it, but Brittany could easily turned from a sweet little girl to a sassy teen in the 2 years of schooling between season 2 and 3. I was surprised by the new Brittany but it makes sense. 12 was never easy, and things can only get harder.

    As a father of daughters myself, I can feel his smoldering rage and yet loving attempt to try to understand why his daughter is giving him so much sass even though she's the one who messed up. It's one of the reasons why I love this series is the balance between his criminal life and trying to be a father.

    As a father of two boys growing up, I had guns. When the kids found out I had a gun, I made sure it was unloaded, I handed it to them and told them both to play with it, they basically just ran around the house yelling bang bang. When it was over I talked to them about guns and how they weren’t toys. I took them out shooting to show them what a gun can do so that this way they weren’t curious about guns . I put up balloons, and told them to shoot it. When they were done, I took them over to the balloons, and told them to put them back together. They just looked at me and I said when you use a gun and shoot somebody this is what happens. there’s no fixing it once you pull the trigger. And they understood and they never touched my guns. they never played with them or anything. They are now responsible gun owners.

      It's a good lesson. Yeah, sure, lots of people survive gunshots, but the point is, you can't unshoot someone. Once you pull the trigger and the bullet's on its way, you can't call it back, and you have to deal with whatever happens because of it. Some wounds heal, but some don't. Sometimes you can cover the damage with a picture, and sometimes you can't. I've known plenty of people who survived gunshot wounds, but I've also known plenty who've died from them too. Furballami's lesson is good.

    • @furballami5842
      @furballami5842 2 ปีที่แล้ว +46

      @@kirinrex Thank you. As adults we know what you say is true. My lesson with the balloons was to show that actions has consequences. You cannot undead a dead person shot and killed. And the reason why I didn’t really get into the fact that people survive gunshots is I didn’t want them to be able to have that choice of thinking well if I shoot them they will survive I would rather them have fun at that early age that once you shoot somebody death could be the result of that shooting action. I thought it was a good lesson for them to learn about guns, and how dangerous they definitely could be.

      And what's wrong with being wrong once in a while. It's one of the ways we learn, not everyone is willing to learn from another's persons mistake. I'd say that only applies to men full of wisdom.

      I've got 5 seconds to react to a violent attacker in my home...
      "Better call the police, they're only 1 minute away!"
      F off mate, even in this fictional story, Ray is well within his rights as a human and a father, to have a personal defence weapon.
      I didn't vote, or get to vote on whether firearms were restricted in my country, so fu(k the government and their control rules.

    Knew these two brothers that owned a pizza place. One was a competitive shooter (hobby) and one was a total dumbazzzz! Dumbazzz accidentally fired off a round through the ceiling/roof of the pizza place one night with the gun they keep near the counter for protection. We walked in like 15 minutes later and had the same reaction to the smell as Ray. It's super distinctive!

    She demonstrated that she doesn’t have the maturity to understand that a gun isn’t a toy, it’s a weapon. I would’ve done the same. If my kid came up to me with curiosity and a real respect and understanding for the responsibility that comes with handling a gun, then I would’ve considered taking them to learn. But she wasn’t ready.
