I cry when I hear this. I cry when I see Tom playing. I miss him like no other. Family has disappointed and hurt me all my life. But because these musical legends and talents aren’t my friends or family, they are the closest people to me. They never disappoint. I think this rings true for many. Tom had it all - talent, wit, humility, kindness, sensitivity, confidence and looks and more. I miss him so much. So thankful I got to hear him 4 times since coming to know who he was in 2006! Even my favorite Beatle and Bob D loved him. Says so much about the man. Steve ranks right up there. Heard him open for TPATH in Houston. ❤️

Steve Winwood conjured some kind of musical magic when he wrote this song. It still shines through 45 years later in this performance. Tom & his band mesh perfectly with him. Can you imagine hearing your audience singing the words of your song along with you? Steve, very humbly, just plows through it soulfully, with no acknowledgement, a true professional. This is a timeless presentation of a classic.

I saw part of this tour at the Gorge in Washington State. I treated myself to a seat in the front row for my 60th
birthday. They didn’t play this together, but it was a fantastic evening, the air filled with newly legal cannabis - and Tom seemed so happy. I’ll always miss him.

Love Stevie Woodwin. No other words could describe how great he is! Could never get tired of listening to him. What an era of MUSIC! So glad I experienced the ppl places music musicians! Never in my lifetime will there ever be again the sound or what I mentioned again. It was “heavy” times were great, confusing maybe to some looking for “something “ but I never left that time or place like many did! A true hipped if u wanna label me as such at 64. ✌️ I don’t regret anything I ever did. If 1 wish, it’d be I wish I would of known then what I know now. Still, those times & when I listen to just blow me away!
