    My man Nique I remember he let me an a friend play in his first summer league held at Clark College at the time, we was there to watch and he came over and ask us you guys want to play, we jump at the chance we was on the court with guys like Rodman, Salley, Mark Price, Isiah Thomas, Ron Harper, Tom Hammond, Brain Oliver and a guys who was leading college basketball scorer playing at Clark dude name was Ernest Lee a baller man I miss those days I see you Nique congrats bro

    Dominique Wilkins has a "larger-than-life-size" statue at Philips Arena in Atlanta just like Michael Jordan has at the United Center in Chicago but racist managers and staff didn't recognize him as a guest at their restaurant and turned him and his guest away because they were black.

      dominique said it himself. he was wearing track pants and the restaurant had a dress code but he FELT that he was turned away cause of his skin color. He FELT (subjectively) that he was turned away cause he was black, he didn't THINK (objectively) that what he was wearing was the reason that he was kept out of the restaurant.

    Same thing happened to me but at a night club in Buffalo, NY. I couldn't get in the club because my pants were "too baggy" but they let two YT dudes behind me with extra baggy skater pants right on in. Blew my mind! Like, did that just really happen?!?!

    Some restaurants have dress codes. He said it himself, he was wearing track pants and he brought up two white guys wearing button down shirts, shorts and sandals.
    Can you really compare track pants to button down shirts, shorts and sandals?
    People judge other people cause of how they dressed, that’s just how it is. Think of this guy wearing button down shirt, shorts and sandals and compare him to someone dress like they just came from the gym. Who do you think we’ll be treated better?
    It’s not always about race. But in the time we’re living now, to some people, it’s hard to NOT see race.

      I've seen people look damn near homeless wearing a button down shirt, with shorts, and sandals. You really think DW looked broke haha?? I once had a bouncer tell me no tank tops at a popular bar in Dallas, I'm black. I said okay, I went to my car, put a jacket on, and was let in. I kid you not, 15 minutes later, a white guy is let in and he's wearing a tank top!! I bolted to the bouncer and asked how come he was let in with a tank top but I wasn't. He couldn't say what he wanted to say because CLEARLY my skin color was the only difference haha. I immediately took my jacket off and he couldn't do anything. I was cool with the bartenders, told them what happened, and that bouncer ended up being fired, as he had a habit of doing that.

    Let me break this down I’m from Atlanta met nique a couple times in my 42yrs I use to party in the old buckhead when they had world bar and many more clubs but after them days they started dress codes in some clubs if you black with track pants,hoodies, white tees ,pants sagging ,hat turned backward,dreads in the head ,chains on your kneck ,golds in your mouth trust me they looking at you as if you can only be a thug it’s 1000% racial profiling

      Back to dominique's situation he just happens to be wearing track pants. He clealy said it himself, the restaurant has a dress code and he was wearing track pants which wasn't allowed.
      The customers behind were wearing casual clothing button down shirts, shorts and sandals; now compare that to somebody wearing track pants. Track pants, what people wear when they go to the gym.
