Unfortunately, this'd be pretty expensive to do properly, especially with VR, since you wouldn't have control and if it stayed in your POV it would be nauseating
@Jbpbnj-hx2gqur a idiot lol they obviously are referencing superhot it says super hot 3 times+ finishing a level he is saying supercold because the game is called coldvr the opposite of superhot or hotvr its very obvious i dont know how you dont understand that lol😅
Proud to announce I'm finally an owner of my very own oculus quest 2! Bought it brand new and everything. I've been watching you on and off for a couple years now but have been watching pretty consistently for the past few months and you have been the main reason I even got one!
now the question is do you think it's just a gimmick? so many think it is and they haven't even tried vr. i'm only getting a quest because it is the cheapest for me to use on my pc. i don't want to walk around irl while in vr. so many do though. do you like 'standalone' or pc vr better?
@@caliginousmoira8565 After having it for a few days, I really don't see it as a gimmick? It functions really well and I don't have access to a super powerful PC so being able to play a lot of surprisingly advanced games on it has been really nice. There's a tank in graphics because it's a portable system but it does it's job well without being super gimmicky, the only thing that was like oh wow this is cool but I'm never going to use it again was the hand tracking but I'm sure some people actually get a lot of use out of it
@@caliginousmoira8565 you can have both though, the quest 2 can work with your PC with the link cable, air link, virtual desktop, or ALVR. I can personally vouch for VD being pretty good quality for wireless play :)
Wolf, I just want to say thank you. Not just for this video, but for everything else u have done. I have watched this channel grow from almost the beginning and It has been an absolute blast! Your positive spirit and comedic timing r priceless and every video makes me laugh. And although you won’t likely read this, I just want to say, thank u for being you, from the bottom of my heart, thank u. -The grateful viewer
I feel like if there was a stamina meter for super speed mode, it would be more challenging. Like if you had to stop for 1-3 seconds to regenerate your super speed, before moving fast again. That way the player would be forced to find a safe spot, and think their next move before continuing. A dynamic between both fast and slow, like superhot.
This is actually awesome, it not only seems obviously heavily inspired by super hot but some of the stuff used to convey the story and world building reminded me of homework's with the part at the intro which showed a video of someone irl speaking to the player which I always thought was something kinda cool when bone works did it. Definitely seems like someone's pet project and a love letter to a lot of the VR titles that were the vanguard of VR games yet have prospered since and are still massive titles multiple years after their release. I don't think any game will ever get close to even touching the way super hot vr and boneworks make players feel and that's definitely not what this is meant to do as it is just a loose copy in many aspects with different gimmicks but it's very apparent that a ton of effort went in lending the game to remain enjoyable even if it's purposefully unoriginal.
This game is just trying to be "Superhot BUT..." which is _fine_ but the concept doesn't really land. With Superhot, you naturally want to go faster as you do better, which ups the difficulty. This well... just keep moving and there's no challenge.
there's a reason Superhot did slow mo instead fast mo. the difficulty curve is completely inverted. in superhot you can adjust the speed of gameplay to your skill level. in this game, playing to the speed of your skill level makes the game easier if you're good and harder if you're bad. also it doesnt look like Cold here has much in the way of speed to really invest the game feel, looks like it's pretty much just walking which doesnt exude a sense of speed
Cold VR is really cool but time can be perceived differently, so we didn't NEED the opposite of Super Hot because the human mind slows things down anyways on its own when it enters flow state or other hyper awerness states. Granted in reality it doesn't slow down nearly as much as Cold VR but it still does happen.
If I had a nickel for every VR game that started with a train ride, I'd have two nickels. Which isn't a lot but it's weird that it happened twice, right?
What year is this game world supposed to be in? The programmer guy held up an early 90s 3.5" floppy disk. Considering this is a current creation, you'd think he would have shown a USB stick.
super hot = what it would feel like to perceive the world at super speed
cold vr = what it would feel like to have super speed.
True
would love to see super medium vr or a SUPER COLD HOT

@@notksiolijadebt6558 so a normal shooter😆
Now we need Lukewarm VR, where everything is in slow-motion except for us, but if we stop moving, everything fast-forwards.
I wish this game had a replay function in real-time so you could see how fast you were going.

Super hot = smart person thinking
Super cold = the flash
Super hot is more like Neo from the matrix or whatever the fuck his name was
Zoomie but only with small movements
Quicksilver simulator
Just watching the game intro all I could think of was “-we know that Fazbears reputation hasn’t been great-“
Same 😂
So it actually copies what it'd feel like if you really did have super speed- you're moving at a normal pace, but everyone else slows down relative.
You reckon th could make a "the flash" game with this? Seems promising

basically the dream quicksilver game!! nice!!!
I understand the ammo system, basically the plus means ammo additional to the current bullet in chamber.
So technically this is just a sequel for Super Hot!
The show Community taught me that the first step to playing a VR game is to look down at your hands in awe. Looks like you've got that down.

Superhot when Ultracold walks in:
Hope this doesn't sound weird, but you genuienly hace such a Deadpool energy while playing this, i really love it
